Ugh. My brother got it and we've had nothing but problems with it. Sure it has some great features, but everything is so hard for a non-techie like him to use... I had to set everything up for him.

Time Warner kept me on hold for an hour before I got agitated and hung up. Later that day, I called again, got someone, who couldn't help me. So I fixed it on my own five minutes later. I was like "great help, buddy."

I would suggest either a Blackberry, a Sony Ericsson (like you mentioned) or a Blackjack if you're on Cingular (I love the Blackjack...).

Yeah, it's possible. I made a game, Gang Wars, that was online. You can use WinSock to accomplish this.

Whoa! JB you're not even 18 yet? You have the intelligence of a more experienced senior computer user! My favorite period in US History would probably have to be the Vietnamese War or the Korean War. I find them both very interesting.

If you are using Windows, then you can use the Windows API to complete your task. Otherwise, for cross platform GUI Programming (for Linux/UNIX/Mac) use something else like Tcl/Tk or Qt4.

How about picking up a nice VB.NET book? They're better than any tutorial online... Otherwise, just search Google for "vb.net year tutorials" Where year is the year of VB.NET you have (2003,2005,etc)

FontForge if you're on Linux is amazing. Or, using Windows, you could also do it the hard way, by using the "eudcedit" command from a command prompt for from the run dialog.

It might have to do with the spaces in the filename. Try using the DOS name (DOCUMEN~, etc) for the names.

When you quick reply to a post, your post count next to your name, above the post, updates, however, your certificate does not update. You need to reload the page to view the new count. Small, but I though I'd point it out.
