if youre game was working fine before then it can be a software that youve installed recently thats preventing you from playing the game or thats on your system a long time. in my case it happened that immediately after installing Eset NOD32. not axactly sure but it worked for me

just want to share something strange with you, I have a sp3 and worked perfect for me @ home however Ive installed it on two work pc's and found couple of probs.

I hear what youre saying. however theres no Norton installed in fact AVG is installed and Ive disabled it temporarily. reason why I think towards NIC is my IT manager took it out of a work pc for some reason. I do have another one to try though

strange thing is i deal with these things all the time but cant see what im missing

Maby someone can help me.I have a v-stream tv card and im currently watching tv programs through nero's tv feature.however Im looking for software other than nero to watch my tv programs through. anyone knows of software for vstream to do my normal tv streaming through.

you can also download MRT witch is a great tool for malicious malware here. its a .exe and works wonderfull
spybots search and destroy is also a great tool that will help you delete virtumonde, vundo etc

once thats done you will need to give some TLC to your registry as thinka suggested. I personally dont have a registry tool that I can refer to yet but you should be able to find a good one perhaps here.

go to the drive properties and see if you can roll back the driver.if not than youll need to install the vga drivers that you got with your mobo or graphics card

yes I have as for the printer i dont want to share it in actuall fact I dont have a printer installed.not a prob though.
heres what Ive done so far
-file sharing is on (I especially shared my pictures gave full rights to no avail)
-same sp(sp3)
-like i said I can ping (no packets lost)
-changed Ip addresess
-changed link speeds
-disabled all firewalls

Im thinking it can be the NIC being greedy you think thats a way to go??

I would grab my old cd drive and see if that drive can read the disk.sounds like a disk reading problem

you can also try a chckdsk /r by using recovery console or win repair. it can be GFX but lets not start to spend money unnecessary.
so. try that first

thats right and it will be trully amazing.the only sad part is in order to get it work theyll have to continually test it on human beings. hope we not gonna get too much failures

If you want to use recovery console sure youll be prompted with a admin pswd but if you do a windows repair you wont be asked for pswd's
instead of choosing recovery console choose windows install then "Windows Repair"
