Hi
[sorry for late reply]
do you still get the blue screen...?can you go into normal windows or safe mode?if you can do a system restore and a chkdsk.
youre problem is hardware related for sure. id check my cpu and RAM for testing
see the attatched file in my previous post (its slightly bad) open icon where the red arrow points to and in the box type www.google.com
and post it here
if you wanna create a link in word type the word google highlight it go to insert>hyperlink>and type www.google.com
open attached file for direction
ohk chief here you go...move your cursor arrow over the small planet icon situated above where you type your text where you find bold italic underline etc.by keeping your mouse cursor on the small planet for so 2 seconds it will actually display the name of the icon(insert link) -click on it and from there just copy the address from the desired address bar and come paste it in that link box(or you can type it in manually)
with me??
cheers
forget about the file recovery program for now because you shit isn't lost yet
sounds so funny reading.lol
anyway ElephantitiSack put your hard drive in another machine(by slaving it-note its not the master boot) and do a chkdsk that way
im thinking registry
system restore in safe mode is your first step ??
hi
do as raj suggested replace your psu there might be sortage of power.a clever step will be to test your failed psu in another machine if you cant seem to get hold of a good psu immediately
good luck
??
hi
im not a faan of IE nor a user but have you tried upgrading your IE version.the problem might lie in your registry also so try a registry Mechanic if you didnt try it yet.
??
Hi
looking at your very brief specs I can see that your mobo will be able to handle 2gig ram.one thing to bare in mind is to buy the exact same types ie make, model, type, speeds etc.
by checking that youre ready for a nice upgrade
also the previous poster is right you can remove old ram
good luck
hi
Ive found that you've downloaded the TSC witch is the trend customer application you should have downloaded the Sysclean package 4.5mb(middle of page)witch you can find on the same page
PS sorry for the bad instruction
do exactly the same but just replace the TSC app with sysclean package.dont forget the pattern files
??
^ you're a liar(LOL)
< weekend is here
v whatz up
I m thinking its more of a heating issues that is making the system unstable, have u cleaned the fans of any dust deposited on the ends that could be the main cause as even running the test it starts to freeze which means something else triggers it. Also be worthwhile to check for the thermal paste on the CPU as well depending on the age of your system.
Good luck
Raj
post nr5 is states the same mr raj...
did you get anything good out of your machine goomnaga?
^Is a gr8 supporter
<Hi danni peeps
v Guess who
heres the exact links(just look on page)
sspda6_649.zip
lpt307.zip
if it is trojans this should fix it or atleast give you names and/or locations of the viruses trojans etc. see how it behaves
??
grab him by the Adams Apple and drag and drop him in front of you computer and make him fix it !
lol.that might work better
hi
have you tried chkdsk and windows repair with xp disk
hi there
so you can slave the drive in your machine and run chkdsk and registry mechanic.also by doing a windows repair he wont lose his data
.
hi
if you using xp go to help and support and restore to a date that in was in order
its difficult to say but bare in mind it is smaller speakers that will produce much "smaller" sound.but unless it played @ higher volume before
regcure is for registry fixes.after cleaning your registry.download trend micro's DOS application here (2.1MB) and the two essential pattern files namely lptXXX and sspdaX_XX(X means latest versions)witch you can find at the same site
extract/install thhe DOS application and the files in a temp folder(all inthe same folder) in the root of local disk, now go into safe mode and run the DOS application
??
Your opinion, not mine! My advice, don't read it, it's that simple!
The Olympic was the sister ship of the Titanic.
thanks for the advice
...so ill suggest you get a 'cheapie' of a graphics card install it and see how it behaves
dont buy one just find one for troubleshooting
before you open or unplug anything look @ the back of your computer box and see where your monitor cable plugs in(the one with the pins-thats your signal cable)now that you've seen where it plugs in open your box and see from the inside if the connector (where the cable is connected to )if its actually soldered to your motherboard or is it on a seperate card
alot of this stuff is becoming bull
ditso I need for you to open your box and see if you have an integrated graphics card or an graphics card thats in a slot.will you be able to do that??
hi
does the microphone actually play @ a higher volume when you try it in a different pc
??
ohk this can take a while but well get it done.not your fault.for starters install your standard graphics drivers the ones you got with your computer
come on buddy thats not the way the danny peeps speaks in here.
hi there
open box and make sure that your IDE and power cable is firmly connected to your drive and mobo.also go into BIOS and run all detections on IDE cabling.did BIOS detect it did it work in windows??
hi there
have you run chkdsk.also check for viruses
is it a install of a new driver(bad one) that made it behave like thisif it is why dont you roll back driver till you can get hold of a good updated one
ohk so when trying another hard drive in your system what you saying it did detect it but it didnt recognise a OS on the drive...right? heres what you do if my previous post didnt do much help....
with the new(other hard drive)in the system {make sure that the hard drive is a good one} format that hard drive and install a brand new copy of the Operating System.
should work.see how it behaves after that and post me a reply
??
ohk...interesting.tell me can you remember the last activity before it all started to begin.
also do you use onboard graphics? what is the graphics specs
hey
If you did a Clean install(normal format-delete all partitions created new, etc) and with that said to your previous post than id say youre problem is more technical.how well is your fans behaving(processor fan especially) monitor it to see if its giving enough cooling to your internal parts. monitor the fans with the new OS installed see how it behaves
??
Hi there
Once you've cleaned your system inside check your fan's especially the one sitting on your cpu if its working properly.after doing the above do this:
with your tower case open(to monitor your fan continueselly to see if it bails on the.
system-cpu fan esp)start up your windows.
when logged in,immediately go to task manager end keep the window open to monitor processor activity.now, while monitoring cpu fan and processor performance you will be able to track if the problem lies with cpu,to rule it out as a possibility. before computer freezes see if the processor's performance went ski-rocketting and if fans stopped.
also post full system specs on next post
???
hey there
now that you have a new hard drive format it in do a clean install of windows
hey there
so did you farmat your pc but are still receiving the freezes?
k then so just work ur mastermind but if you stall with the problem just drop a post.
good luck
by putting the HD in another machine(slave) you can determine if its working, chkdsk and if it has an OS on.
sometimes user manuals states recommended ram but that doesnt mean that, thats your limitation. If pc2700 is what youve been using and your the machine likes it than you can remain with pc2700
when doing a full format and clean install of windows then youre pc should operate a factory/manufacturers standard all viruses should be removed asswell.so unless you didnt do a clean install youre pc should've worked fine.if indeed you did a clean install then the problem lies in another place- hardware related.
good luck though
so do you know how to create links now?
