Yes you can drive lots of traffic to your site, but if they dont convert, then basically, its not worth it.

I would not trust a free domain buying, to be honest, I would not trust it, since nothing is free in this world.

You can do all the outreach tactics you want, but if it does not entice the visitor and convert them to your message or desired behavior, then it wont work.

We all know everyone have a different policy on accepting or sending out friends' requests. We also know that people on Facebook love to play those addictive games, like Zombies, Mafia Wars, and Farmville. Google actually penalizes sites that are "parked" on bad neighborhoods/sites and this means, your site will not appear high on SERP. No site wants that.

Adding images to boost your SERP is a good way to bring traffic to the site - as long as the images are tagged with the proper keywords.

I like all of your steps except #4. You just have to becareful of which sites you trade your links. These sites must have related contents and have good PageRank.
