I am having a great deal of difficulty locating a game or application like that though since most games that would need that also need a lot of other things that this integrated video chipset just don't do.

how do i fix this problem manually without using any anti virus it's because the anti virus would not even detect the virus that i have on my pc now.

this is a weird statement ,if you computer has a virus then any GOOD virus scan will detect it ,just may not have a fix for it ,now if you only have a Trojan or spyware and not a virus, then yes virus scanners will miss some Trojans/spyware ,there is a difference you know .

first thing is you need to tell people the name of the virus you think you have ,as most virus have a different function .
In my signature is a good program called malwarebytes ,get it and scan the computer .

Your English is getting very good ,but Blunt ,many issues could be causing the problem ,and power and maybe even a dirty CPU Fan ,many thing ,don't be so sure !

take it to a computer repair shop!for quick results ,It maybe the motherboard,or the Ram, or the CPU,
also if you have another power supply try it as sometimes power supplies will fail but have enough power to turn on the fans

But sooner or later he will still have to fix it though

When I tried to boot to the "linux live" it gave me:
Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.

you need to set the computer to boot to the cdrom in the bios/setup when you first turn the computer ,when booting to a live linux cd you should not get a Windows could not start error ,as you are not trying to start Windows .
Also what live cd did you use

Very vague,but you problem could be cause by a lot of things ,first to mind is software, wrong drivers for some device ,or virus/spyware/trojan ,or dirt causing overheating and many many more ! for sure a new machine will fix it !

actuall ,i would first reset the router ,do this by using a paperclicp or the tip of a writing pen might do it .on the back of the router there is usually a small pin to reset the router ,disconnect the cat5 wires from the router and just leave the power plug in and hold the reset until all the lights start blinking and then let go of the reset .then using either the routers ip[usually on the back/under side of the router] address in internet explorer or the cdrom that came with the router

if you haven't yet i would install chipset drivers from the motherboard disk that you may have, because ones would have come with the tower or with the board .if not disk go to the MSI site for chipset drivers .also get www.CCleaner.com and clean temp files and do a registry clean to get rid of ac97 shit .from all the installs of different drivers ..

I think the solutions involving a "Desktop Shortcut" is for an unrelated problem from what is being discussed here. I have the exact same issue, IDENTICAL to the description in the initial post. I can not directly view jpeg files when they are on the desktop. The Windows Picture and Fax Viewer opens but then closes immediately. However, if I create a folder on the desktop and put the jpeg in it, I can then open the picture when I double-click.

I have NO SHORTCUTS to the DESKTOP anywhere on my desktop. I even cleaned off my desktop of everything except the default icons (and a couple of picture files) and the problem still persists.

This is an annoying inconvenience because pictures I download, copy, etc. go to my desktop first. It would be nice to double-click and view it from my desktop so I know what folder to put it in permanently. Meanwhile, I have to remember to right-click/open.

interesting ,it works for me ,what i would try if i had this problem is create a new user via the users in control panel,and download jpg to its new desktop and see what happens
