Hello
Are there any tools which can be used specifically to design html forms and generate the codes, which can then be copied to an html page, more like drag and drop, and the codes and validations made available to copy elsewhere?

Agree with Rik on the defrag tool as well, thou I use Diskeeper, which automatically keeps the hard-disks healthy

Did you try use a RAM booster app?
Or use a tweak to set to gaming mode: http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html ?
Else I recommend to add another RAM stick or use a Flash USB drive as additional RAM
I know that Win7 works fine on 1GB RAM; but in case of gaming etc, I would recommend at least 2GB

Try with FileZilla Server, and see its doc here: http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Documentation

I believe however u'll need to open an access port in the firewall/router to get external access, and specify a static IP and give it a name like ftp.filezilla.com for easier access

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

glad could help u

try clean the system using kaspersky, and also clean the registry with a cleaner tool like ccleaner or registry mechanic to see what happens afterwards

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Try to boot in safe mode and uninstall kaspersky or roll-back to a previous working version of windows using system restore, else do a clean install of windows again if you have a dvd, or try recover it if possible

I used Kaspersky IS 2011 during the past few months as a trial, and encountered no prob on my windows 7 x32

BBAD commented: Already said, Safe mode and sysrestore -1
Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Can use any of these:

1. CCleaner (free)
2. Tune Up utilities (paid)
3. Advanced System Optimizer (paid)
4. Registry Mechanic (paid)

thanks twiss ans TySkby, but twiss' method is more appropriate as I have no jscript on the page, and need a simple parent-child view on the page

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Hello
I would be grateful if someone could help me achieve a parent-child relationship as shown in the attachment, using the <a href> tags

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

thanks, but is there which is more specific to the link I added in the post?

Anyone can recommend me the best php IDEs available which also provide support for frameworks like zend or codeigniter?

Hello
Am new to PHP coding, and would like to get some very good tutorials on PHP forms and processing involved, with mysql may be included as well as part of the forms data to be used, anyone can suggest some nice sites or ebooks or tutorials? Googled some, but they are too basic in the end

Install Speccy, from http://www.piriform.com/speccy, and run it, it will give you the details about most of the hardware present, and you can find out your soundcard version and make as well from it, then just google the soundcards name with the 'driver' word and the windows version to find results for it.
Else, another way is to download and install the driver update tool from http://www.driverupdate.net/, and it will automatically search for your drivers (even outdated and new ones) for the hardware present

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

First thing, if possible, try to unplug the harddisk and connect to another pc, if it boots ok then may be a component on your motherboard is the issue here, else if still restarting, then either try repair the installation with a windows cd, or format and clean install windows

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

hi, you could try follow the steps provided on this link: http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/flashGetObject/

Finally figured out had to use this command instead to solve the problem, and needed to reload apache2 :

sudo ln -s /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf
Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Hello
I've installed phpmyadmin using the command apt-get install phpmyadmin, however am unable to open its login page in my web-browser when I type http://localhost/phpmyadmin
Installation was done properly and I can view the MySQL server from the webmin page.

Error is:

Not Found

The requested URL /phpmyadmin was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.16 (Ubuntu) Server at localhost Port 80

Anyone knows how to make the phpmyadmin page load?

If have to update drivers, grab a tool like DriverUpdate from http://www.driverupdate.net, and it will scan and download the updates automatically

hi blocker, just use the code here, you missed the : before the D for the first part, see code below and use it

E:\I386\winnt32.exe /syspart:D: /tempdrive:D: /makelocalsource /noreboot
Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Change the smileys above to : D but no spacing between them

No CD/DVD drive on the laptop to boot from it?

Well you may try this:
1) Connect the HDD to/in your working desktop system.

2) Format the drive.

3) insert your windows cd in the drive, and exit when it pops up asking what you want to do.

4) Go to "My Computer" and look at the drive letters of the CD-rom containing the XP disk, and also the drive letter of the hard drive you are installing to.

5) Assuming the hard drive is "D" and the XP cd is in "E:", go to the run command and type (or cut and paste):

E:\I386\winnt32.exe /syspart:D: /tempdrive:D: /makelocalsource /noreboot

6) setup will begin and ask you if you want to upgrade or full install, make sure it is FULL INSTALL. It will then ask you for a few more things including the CD key.

7) When it goes back to your desktop, turn off your PC and remove the external hard drive. It is now ready for install in the new system. It will simply continue to install windows from this point.

8)boot up the hard drive on your laptop

Hope this helps, as I tried it once and was successful, but has instead connected the HDD as slave drive in my computer instead of USB connector used, then plugged back to another pc to finish install and used

You are talking about the VGA connector (the cable) but am referring to the VGA socket and slot (socket is on the card where you plug the monitor's cable, and slot on the motherboard where the card itself is plugged).
It could be the socket is no longer working on the card, or the slot itself is not working properly on the board, or sometimes (which happened to me once) one of the capacitors on the card may have been overheated and damaged, thus no image on screen but windows etc loading properly, and had in the end to replace the card

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

In case of wifi, usually there is a key, WEP or WPA, which protects it, and you have to enter the key in the Connection settings to get access. The key is usually found when accessing the router via the url http://192.168.1.1 in a web browser

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

OK so it seems it is a graphic card problem, either the card itself or the slot on the board (either VGA or PCI-e) not working properly.

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Can you explain about the problem encountered here: "When i start any game like NFS-5 Porsche...I am plyng like god of war in 128MB of Graphics Card...".
Did you try to change the graphics settings for the game after install?

As for antivirus, you have a wide selection, choose any which suit: Norton, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Panda, AVG (paid or trial versions), or free ones like AVG free, Comodo, Avast... Thou I do not believe the problem encountered is a virus related one here.

Also try google Game Booster and download it, use it when you go gaming on the pc

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Did you change the options in the BIOS to make the external disk a bootable device? I presume the external drive is a USB one. Else I will suggest you buy a CD drive, pretty cheap nowadays, or borrow one if you cannot afford.

Hello
Am currently using Filezilla FTP client on my Win XP SP3 machine, but alas it does not provide an option to auto delete source files after completion of a transfer, and this has to be done manually, which is time consuming in my case. Is there any other FTP client available with the option to auto delete the source files after transfers are completed?

Just thought of trying to help him if he really needs the app to work or something

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Capacitors are not welded to the board, they are soldered.

Oups my mistake, always confuse with these 2 :)

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

I would recommend to resize the other drive (not basic one) and install the OS on it, of course if it is error free too. Then try use something like Easus partition manager (http://www.easeus.com/) to try format or repair the other drive.

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Try Ulead Gif animator (I think the version 2.0 is free else need to buy the new versions)

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Hmm hold on 1 sec, is your Windows 7 a genuine one or not here?

"I am not using any virtual pc because of that windows genuine update." could you clear this first?

If not virtual pc, then try vmware player, its free.

As for typing in different languages may be you could use a virtual keyboard in this case to type, try google up "multilingual virtual keyboard" or something similar.

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

You have a CRT monitor? If so it could be the monitor which is giving up (which happened in my case), else its definitely a capacitor in the card which could be damaged, and might thus need to replace the card itself, or you could just try move slightly the capacitors, which should remain fix to the card unless one has been overheating and got loose welding

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

I used to get this issue with my PC instead, and a completely cleaning (from fans to motherboard as well as adding a new casing fan in my case) helped solve the problem. In the case of your laptop, you could add one of those fans which connects at the base of the laptop casing, and also give it a proper clean up

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Is the XP a dual boot or formatted then installed?
It could be that either the processor got a prob, or your hard-disk (fragmentation could be an issue here).
Try first to defragment the disk, and if still experiencing the prob, try to get hold of a processor just to test (from a friend may be)
Also, check in task manager if which processes are taking much resources, and close them if unneeded

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro
Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

you could give this method a try, although it does mention a restart to achieve the process: http://300allpctips.blogspot.com/2009/07/quickly-switching-between-different.html

Unfortunately I think you are right, will get one soon to replace it

Hello
My drive HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GCA-4166B was working fine so far, until it stopped reading or burning cds and dvds. If I insert a media, it tries to read it then stops after a few blinks, and if I click on the drive icon, it opens to a blank screen in Windows.
Device manager says that the drive is working properly, and I did an update on its driver but nothing so far.
Anyone can help troubleshoot this problem?

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

have u manage to solve it? else try follow example on this link: http://ryanfait.com/resources/footer-stick-to-bottom-of-page/

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

Did you launch any other apps so that it goes to 100% cpu usage, or even if left idle it does so?
Also is it 32bit or 64bit OS?

Ritesh_4 71 Posting Pro

I dont know about copying part of a movie, but I know most of the available video converter tools allow conversion to avi or other formats from DVDs, thus saved on your harddisk. As for manipulating the converted video, some tools are available, like corel video studio, or Kate's video cutter (can google for more). You can also rip the dvd using a dvd ripper or decrypter tool, and from there work with the .vob files if available, or the ifo file for the whole movie (there usually 2 ifo files present, use the second one, which is like VTS_01_0.IFO)
