Re: Sometimes when you change resolutions on the fly, the icons in the taskbar get pixelated and funny looking. Logging out and then back in or restarting the computer fixes this. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to though.
Re: It's not that it's been disabled - just that I thought it was somewhat redundant with a link to Today's Posts on every page. Do you really think it's an important feature?

Re: Have you tried .navhead { font-size: 10pt; } ?
Every few months or so, I like to send out an e-bulletin to forum members. However, the vBulletin built-in script just isn't robust enough as it constantly will time out every few pages. I've also tried sending mail directly from Mirosoft Outlook, but the sheer volume of emails made that …

If Page A has multiple links to Page B, does that show any more weight than a single link? Is Page A's PR spread thinner to every page it links to? Does Page B receive any more PR than it would have with only one link? Thanks!
Organize Your Data Arrays allow programmers to store a series of data of the same type. For example, suppose a program is to keep track of twenty numbers. Such a set of numbers would be stored in an array of integers (whole numbers) or doubles or floats (decimals). Arrays work …
Does anyone know what's going on with this July PR update? In the past, backlinks and PR were updated together. That doesn't seem to be the case this time. Not only that, I've heard some mention of a few sites fluctuating in PR lately in addition to some previously PR0 …
Re: This page is known as a cover sheet. Sometimes it is setup on an application basis while other times it is systemwide. Does this just happen when you're using one program, such as Microsoft Word, for example? Or does it always happen? If it always happens, then go into the …
Re: Are you installing as an administrator? Some programs (for some reason) require you to be logged in as root to install. If you don't have a root account enabled, you can do so by going to /Applications/Utilities and then to the NetInfo manager. In the Security dropdown menu, select Enable …
Re: By default, all of the pages in an Invision forum are along the lines of index.php?showforum=XX and index.php?showtopic=XX This is not too search engine friendly because of the query strings in the URLs. It's better to have clean URLs such as /showforum/XX/ or /showforumXX.html I really don't have much experience …
I just noticed that forums.devshed.com name their forums as keyword phrases. For example, instead of forums such as C++, PHP, or Java they will use C Programming, PHP Development, and Java Help. All three of these phrases are really hot keywords on the search engines. Is it beneficial to do …

I wish I had taken a screenshot, but I just noticed a 728x90 leaderboard Google AdSense ad on one of these pages. And instead of the usual text "Ads by Google" it said "Ads by Goooooooogle" ;) Looks like someone's playin' around ;)
Re: Yeap, it looks fine to me. If I were you I wouldn't be publically displaying your name, address, and phone # on a public forum ... if that is your real contact info, that is.

Re: First of all, this is the wrong place to post questions. Second of all, we don't help with homework problems unless you show some effort on your part. Check out the C++ forum. Post your question there. Show us what you've done on it so far and where you're stuck. …

Re: PHP version 5 is the latest version of PHP. PHP4 or PHP5 needs to be installed on the web server that executes the php code. If you're not serving web pages from your home machine, you don't need it.
Re: Basically what I changed was make the alternating colors go horizontally instead of vertically. My reason for doing this was primarily for ease of reading - all the information about each thread is now separated from the next thread. I'd like to hear some other opinions please.
Re: Please don't double post. Someone knowledgable in what you're asking will get to you as soon as they can.
Re: I took the course the first year it was taught in C++. It was pretty fun. I can't tell you much about the A.P. exam because I was completely sick when I took it with a high fever and all.

Re: He's talking about Star Trek Deepspace 9. I'm actually an enormous Voyager fan. I am pretty sure that Klingon women aren't allowed on the battlefield as the men are. If allowed on the battlefield, it wouldn't be to fight the men. The best dude to ask around here goes by … |
