I wish I could help you, but alas, just an Apache user. :( Is it possible it is a disk error as opposed to an IIS error? Perhaps something that Chkdsk (or something more sophisticated) would fix? While the directory isn't available, can you right click on the directory in …

The hack is only 3.0.x compatible. I have not yet had a chance to take a look at 3.5. I will upgrade the hack to 3.5 at the same time as I upgrade DaniWeb to 3.5, which will most likely be in December or January.

This thread was originally in the Webmaster Marketplace as a service, but it doesn't seem to be one. So then it was moved to the Premade Scripts forum since it looks to be a directory script to use. So let's keep it on target as that :)

That's strange. You shouldn't be getting that error. If you click "add blog" before you create a blog, the system should automatically create one for you behind the scenes.

I'm wondering if the uninstaller isn't complete and it's still leaving things in the registry. Go to regedit and do a search for the name of the folder that keeps reappearing or the printer model or something like that.

If this just happened, it might be because I recently created a rule in the Apache .htaccess file to redirect http://daniweb.com/ to http://www.daniweb.com/ Therefore, your cookie might be of the wrong domain. Try clearing your daniweb.com cookie and that should fix the problem.

I use my PayPal account like a savings/checking account and often will transfer large amounts of money between my PayPal account and CitiBank. My question is whether taxes will kill me transferring a lot of money into my CitiBank account all at once, since PayPal isn't a government-recognized bank?

They're definitely one of the best. You can probably expect between $1-2 CPM from them, and more if your ads perform well. Basically, the better your ads perform, the more inventory they give you, and the higher the CPM rate is. Even though they're CPM based, be sure to put …

Well, in order to do a Google search of your site, all of the pages of your site need to be well indexed in Google. DaniWeb's site specific search was done by using the Google API with the PHP language. For more information, http://www.google.com/apis/

I'm not so sure that's a good idea. Promoting a website by buying a mailing list is a pretty spammy tactic. Some might even look down on your new site for it - which isn't a good first impression. You might find yourself with more enemies than new visitors.
