+1 yeah, BlueJ, Eclipse and Netbeans all use the compiler (javac) from the Sun JDK. The IDE is just an editor, the JDK has all the actual linkers, librariers, compilers etc... and the JRE is what you actually use to run the programs in.

Um no, It works fine in Firefox 3, Pocket IE (based on like IE4 lol), Opera and Safari. In fact, IE5 and IE6 are the only browsers that have some bugs with the site.

take the hdd out and reinstall it. Check all the cables are connected right then go into the BIOS and change the boot order so that network boot is at the bottom of the list.

Have you actually tried ensuring the print spooler service (and its dependencies) are running. Go into control panel -> administrative tools (under classic view) -> services It should be set to Auto and Started. If that fails, try the advice in the above post.

What are the specs of your power supply? I would reccoment 2x 8800s personally , seeing as you have an SLI board. However a single ATI 4870 is better. Just ensure in either case that your PSU can handle it.

VPN across the internet to someones network so it appears you are all in one LAN, even although you are distributed across the globe. That way you can play LAN games which dont support internet play. but its kind of a security hole.

Welcome. Please direct any questions specifically related to hardware swaps or web development, to thier respective boards. This board is for welcomes only. Hope you enjoy daniweb :) p.s the most cvost effective way is a cheap domain and server. Try and recoup some of the costs through adwords etc...
