maybe 28 hours a week min on coding. Java and XHTML/CSS mainly. thats just for my course, personal coding (i make freeware pocketpc apps) comes to maybe another 6 hours a week. Daniweb itself is at least 20 hours a week minimum.

Dell CD drives are just crap My e510 has stopped reading DVD data disks, but movies are fine. CDRWs also have stopped working. Drive doesnt work in other PCs either Just buy a new drive , thats what i did

go into my computer -> right click drive -> properties -> hardware tab select drive in hardware tab -> click properties -> policies tab set it to be optimised for quick removal. Disable any write-caching etc...

Thats normal. The built in windows sound recorder (even on xp) cant record more than 60 seconds For longer recordings download a program called Audacity (free)

If you want to know how a database actually works on a low level just consult a comp/sci textbook. Fundementally hashes, indexes, trees, linked lists are the key concepts involved. How they are actually used varies on implementation.

use ATF Cleaner, Disk Cleanup and CCLeaner - ensure that remove hotfix backups is checked - thats what makes the installer folder big Also worhtwhile removing old system restore points from the second tab of disk cleanup.
