Stick in the VB 2003 cd and go into control panel -> add remove programs , choose VB.NET 2003 and do a repair reinstall

yeah x64s driver support sucks, vista 64 is a bit better but still bad . only good MS x64 bit is is windows server, and server h/w generally has 64 bit compatible drivers

BF2 / 2142 doesnt need much. It runs on my £40card. I reccomend an Nvidia Geforce 8 series - 8600 or better, try and get one with 512mb if you can afford it.
