Thats makes sense but maybe you should make a system where you do delete all their information apart from their username. If people don't want their information displayed on your site it should be your responsibility to remove it. Out of interested how often do you get these requests?

One thing to point out is to get the best effect make sure that you don't stretch or distort the background image in flash... do it in photoshop or something similar. Make it the same size as the flash file you are using it with.

you need to look at your style sheet and see what it says for the a:link element and then set that to the color you want. If that doesnt help please could you repost your problem because I really dont properly understand it.

I don't use it but it may be useful for you to get your website going on a free service before you invest in server space. It can be quite costly for a decent spec. Let us knowhow you get on

I think you need to put a space before the image if you wish to do this. another way of doing it is :
<div style="width: 640px; height: 78px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img src="http://<mysite>/images/<image>"/></div>
hope that helps.

You have obviously used dreamweaver to create alot of your code but have you tried:
.box { height: 300px; width: 200px; overflow: hidden; }
or even:
.box { height: 300px; width: 200px; overflow: auto; }
That will make any content that is to large for the …

Google custom search works really quite well for me. It's worth having a go with it. I wouldn't get into making one your self because lets face it, it's never going to be as good as google!

The method you want to use is called a preloader. You can find 682,000 different articles on preloaders here. In many cases though users prefer to see the page load rather than just watching a blank screen saying wait... You will see that very few professional websites use them.

It is probably easier to set up your own web dev company rather than a software company so that is probably why the average is up.

I think it is either down to laziness or ignorance. I think we should have custom error messages if you have the ability to, because on some servers you can't. I own a server that hosts multiple domains and I am pretty sure I can't have custom 404. I have …

I would say these easiest way to do this is just a small flash document that has basically got a sound loop on it and an off button. There are many tutorials for this online. Sorry vishesh for ignoring your post but this way just seems easier.;)

Sorry to ignore your post iamthwee, but in general something like Photoshop or Paint Shop pro will do the trick. Or fireworks. You should try getting some free trials and see which one suites you the best.

I haven't used frontpage for a long time but from what I can remember there is an icon in the top toolbar and you should be able to click that and select how many rows and columns you want. If there is any more help you need please post.

Have you tried using nested tables and setting the height in them? What your are doing is going to cause a problem because 100% height doesn't really work. You have quite a simple layout so I would say scrap the tables and try and learn some decent coding.
