Some of your drivers/options could be messed up; try going into Device Manager and clicking "reset to defualts". Otherwise you could just reinstall Windows.

It looks as if your card's font drivers are messed up. You could do what mikeanddike22 said, or you could just backup and reformat/reinstall, which you probably need anyway.

Does Internet Explorer work? Does nothing work? I'm not completely sure, but you could try manually transferring the 10.2.8 update onto your Mac. Or, you could backup your data, and then do a complete reformat/reinstall. That would fix it. Or, you could just upgrade to Tiger.

Weird. No display could mean one or more of the following: - Your video card is dead - Your BIOS is dead - The power supply is toast - Your connections are loose If you have the means to do so, test each on of these to determine the problem.

You mean you can't enter the BIOS? Hit the Delete key or F1 (whatever key it says "to press to enter setup"). Then adjust the boot priority so that CD-ROM is higher than hard drive. If that doesn't work (you can't see the CD drive in the boot sequence), maybe …

OK, first of all, you should know what a "bad sector" is. It's a bad spot in the disk, and a disk utility can't simply repair it. What this means is that the hard drive is deteriorating, and you should get a new hard drive ASAP. As for recovering data, …

I think you should back up any important data (this might be difficult if you haven't already; try hooking it into another computer), and doing a complete reformat/reinstall of Windows. If the problem persists, then your hard drive is probably nearing the end of its life.
