For your first part of the question no. Do a Ping test to check whether your internet connection is slow. Does other browser have the same problem?

Can you recovered the dumped files. And try doing a scan with malware bytes too to make sure malware is not the one responsible for the dumping of files. Can your external DVD drive work? Can it read movie and play them?

MBAm is good and will remove most malware, just like what the above experts posters have said:)
You can do a malware scan using MBAm 2 times to make sure all malware is being clean up or removed. Malware remover tool will not conflict with Anti Virus. You might want to try out Spyware Blaster too.

Have you try contacting synergy for help or reinstall synergy. Can you access internet? If yes means there is nothing wrong with your router but something wrong with the software or your computer. Is your laptops firewall blocking the connection?

Use the new admin account and delete the old admin account. Backup your data on an external hard disk first. Since nothing is wrong with your second admin account you might as well you that. Follow the two above posted suggestion first.

You downloaded the key from the internet and save it on your laptop before you reformat it. You can go to the folder where you save the file before and tried to use a recovery tool to recover it.

Since you said other users are having no problem, it means there is something with the admin account your daughter is using. Myabe she change some settings? Have you tried s system restore?

Althought there are no help in the link, people are not having any problems when they create a new account. What i would suggest is to backup all data, files and folders. Backup your browser bookmarks as well. Use the new admin account you created. Since there is no problem with that, just you the new account and delete the old admin account your daughter is using.

what anti virus software are you currently using? Ask your daughter to create another admin account and see whether when she is using the new admin account she created, does she have any problems? Like as in with the applications?

Thanks for the reply and concern, Stevenros. Yes i did, i sent them an email, stellar replied that other users are facing this problem too. So it is not ony me. They tell me that the latest free version of Stellar Phoenix is having a bug error and cannot be used. A few months have passed, they must have solved it by now. But i still do not dara to use the product but i still use other products and they are working fine.

Left fore dead, Black ops, Urban terror. There are a lot of good games out there but i hardly play using a laptop. Most of the time i do my work or play on xbox. Urban terrors is fun
