Hi Gerbil. It depends on what type of reinstallation the OP is looking for. Sometimes program files will still remain on your computer. And most of the time people said when the lost or cannot find their file after reinstallation its because the files are either hidden or the file name has changed.

Repair install won't delete data but reformat will delete all data.

Have you search the internet for exe update file. If not maybe you can try to use a software and convert the bmt file into an exe one. I will search the net for an exe update file. Will get back to you as soon as possible.

There is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and 3 but they require you to pay more money. Not sure whether you want that, so did the update 1.7.1 fix the server connection issue? Have you try it on other laptops to see whether they can play multiplayer. If other laptop that has version 1.7 is also having the problem, that means the game is having a bug problem. Hopefully the new update will solved it.

I disagree with you, having to many emails is troublesome. If the password for all emails are the same it is easy to crack by anyone and a hacker. If the password are different for all email account, the user might not remembered them. If the user choose to store his account login information like password and username in a word document or other document, people can easily retrieve it and have access ti it unless your encrypt the document with a password.

They were not here before so they did not know abelLazm and Kraai had changed the rules.Newcomers thought the game is suppost to end when Team A reach 1000 and Team B 0, but the number is 1900+. i don't think you should have that many email accounts. At most two email account would be good enough. One for business the other one for personal use.

It seems like a malware problem because whenever you try to run a scan, it will freeze suddenly. Try posting in the virus,spyware and other nasties forum

Yes a powerline adapter could increase the the network connection. Can you check what is your network speed. And do a ping test to see whether the problem does not lies with the router.

How about web browsing, is the internet speed fine or does the internet connection always drop?

Reintsall the game and see whether that helps. If not use other version and see whether can you play multiplayer. If other older or newer version works fine, the version 1.7 is having issue. I have not play call of duty for a few weeks already.

There is actually no classification to that. I use Cisco router but never bother to check that. Maybe the newer router are classify with a higher number.

I have that too but after some times it started to disapear. Have you try using other browser and going to other websites. When you open a new tab, what webpage does it show? Do a virus scan first.

Have you change any settings in your router control panel?

That means you file is hidden. Try unhiding it. You are using a mac right or other OS? If you are using mac follow the below steps
Check whether your files are there in the mp3 player

1) Go to disk utility. If you do not know how, press command and spacebar then type disk utility
2) At the left side of the windows they will show you the external or internal hard disk name. Select your MP3 card, click on it and see how many files are stored inside there. If they are files there that means your file is hidden.

If you have nothing important or you do not want the music anymore you can format the mp3 player card.

1) Go disk utility and select the card name. Click on erase and you are done

Scan whether a virus is hiding your files

1) Use your antivirus program and scan the mp3 card. If you do not have one. Download ClamXav from the website and scan it.

Try repairing the card

1) Disk utility have this function. Go there and you will know how to do it.

You can't. Also it had to depens on what format type you are using. Reformat deletes all data on your laptop, you have to backup on an external hard disk to prevent data loss just like what flagstar have said.
