If you are using windows post this in the windows forum under hardware and software, it can be related to some settings on your computer or as Nick had said a virus. if that is the case, other helpers will take over your problem from there.

Some screenshots of what i am facing. It only happens when i am using a laptop to browse daniweb, when using a phone, it seems to load faster and everything is normal. Anyone test that out yet?

Is your router configure properly to host games. Have you port forwaded the Public IP address to your Local IP address?

1) Open Command
2) Type ipconfig /flushdns

Reopen your browser and see whether that works. Delete all cookies and run ad aware. You have to ask other people on how to use ad aware in this case. Good luck.

When you wake up in the morning or have free time, try using other PC or laptops and see whether google.com is able to load. If yes, that means something is wrong with your laptop.

How about Firefox browser? Does it work too.

Did you add any new hardware parts recently? Try using another hard disk and see whether that works. If that works, that means your first hard disk may be crashed.

1)Can other browsers works?
2)Go update your systems for windows 7, block pop up blockers and ads as this may cause the problem.
3)Make sure firwall is turn on.
4)Do a ping test on Google and see how many packets of data are received and sent.

Try enabling DHCP. Are you connecting using an ethernet cable or wireless? Check your firewall too.

Are you attempting file sharing?Configure the firewall settings if that does not work turn off your firewall. But that may harm your laptops as virus get easily infect your laptop without firewall permisson. Try not to use file sharing between laptops often.

I have the same problem 2 days ago. In a thread the avatars won't even load, you will just see a blank box. Same problem also occured in other browsers.

f drive is mostly for thumbdrive, do you have any data on the f drive?

Also check your Antivirus software or other security tools. They may be scanning GTA as you play so it may cause the game to be slow. If your AV is scanning the game, list GTA IV as a trusted application so it won't be scan.
