If you are running any kind of Anti-Virus or Computer Security software (ie McAfee Internet security, Norton, etc.), disable said software and try again. Connecting the printer to the computer, Windows 7 should automatically download the driver for it. The only thing you are installing is the extra software.

Look on amazon.com. There is also the Popcorn hour and Boxie units. Any Blu-ray player or gaming system like the PS3, PS4, Xbox-360 or Xbox-One will allow streaming. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wd%20tv%20live&sprefix=wd+tv%2Caps%2C349&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Awd%20tv%20live&sepatfbtf=true&tc=1392662208360&ajr=sabc

Never have I ever had to root my son's Android OS based phones, or my Google Nexus 7 tablet. As for stuff like AV software, it runs with "Granted" rights. But not so much, that it opens the OS up to possible malware. Android is a Linux based OS. There …

QOS can be maintained at either the hardware or software level. Most routers manufactured these days, will have QOS built into the firmware, but most will not allow end-user changes.

How did Windows 8 let you install Office 2000? As for upgrading files, you mean like the documents you created in that dinosaur? You just insert the DVD for Office 2010, it will see the old version, state that, you select Customize to "Run all from My Computer". It will …

Windows 7 Home does not work with domains. You can only use it in a non-domain environment. As long as you have the correct workgroup named on that machine, that it belongs to, you should have no problem browsing Network shares, unless other machines, or your router does not allow …

If you do not add the \ after c: or whatever drive you are working in, the command will not work. It is easier to just drop the drive name all together, and just do the following as an example "\Program Files" without the quotes. Now there is of course …

The number one question is, who is your provider that you have. That would be a good starting point. As for this DVR, is it one you made yourself, by using a computer, or is it one that you got with your Satellite, CATV, Fios or IPTV provider. Too many …

Actually that would be Google Evil, Apple okay. Google has been selling users info since the day of their inception. As for the OP question, use what fits your needs, do not let others decide for you.

Start8 would not have changed the behavior of windows. Sounds like something else has happened. Start8 is for booting into the desktop, not for changing the metro interface. As for the Windows 8.1, played with the beta for a few days, and yes it is more hype then anything. All …

Not following you, as to what you are getting at. A keyboard does not care what language you speak, or type in. It is what is called a "dumb" device". Helps to know more, along with what kind of tv you have, and what you are attempting to accomplish.

How are you searching for the files? Save the files in a My Documents folder, vs. the Microsoft Visual Studio default folder. Can you post screen shots, when you open Windows Explorer in that folder, showing what files are in there. You could try Jam Software's Ultrasearch. http://www.jam-software.com/ultrasearch/ XSearch is …

If you have uninstalled the old drivers, reinstalled, then the only thing else it could be, is the Inverter or LCD screen. Flickering is usually a sign of the Inverter going bad. Do not go off and download cards.dll from some unknown website. The file can contain a virus or trojan, which in turn you are risking your system. See the following http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Install-a-game-in-the-Games-folder
