I think full of keywords stuffed domain really don't help… with a good linking campaign you can get them equal in the serps. And a catchy domain name will increase brand awareness and is worth infinitely more than a domain name picked solely for SEO.

I too advice you for a fresh install. Also, Check registry files, make sure they aren't corrupt. Make sure you've defragged your disk and checked the disc for errors
It could be a driver issue, most common drivers to cause this are sound and video. Check for updated drivers for both of them.
I read it in other thread that it could be because of a faulty ram chip too sometimes. If everything else fails, try taking/swapping your existing memory out.
