There are many e-commerce packages out there. Alot of them are free and some cost a substanial amount of money. Google it and you would find them.
We also use it to track this word-of-mouth buzz.
Good tips there, thanks for sharing
I have already turned it off.... I won't use it without granular privacy settings.
After watching all the hype I’m underwhelmed. But still I guess I wait for the next generation to see if it would change.
Three things one has to concentrate to gain traffic through search engine optimization. First is relevant and quality content on a particular keyword usually related to the product/services. Second is link building, link exchange and reciprocal linking so more sites will be pointing to your site as reference. Last one is social media participation so people who have an account on these social media sites will get to know your site.
I haven't tried them yet but MailChimp seems to be good one.

Welcome to the forum. Have a great stay!! :)
The best you can do is to be on guard of your site all the time until the spammers get tired of visiting your site.
You have to start interacting with people who will want to see your site, making conversations, getting involved in chatter and establishing connections. this will then lead you to the opportunities on Social Media.
Agreed... I don’t see what the usefulness is in letting someone know where you are all the time... it seems like you’re just asking for trouble.
I see it as a chance to get to know new people. Unless it’s obvious that the person befriending me is the facebook page for a band or something else commercial. Don’t care about those.
I agree with above comment, getting traffic is a combination of a lot of things. The key to success is to create great content that visitors want to use, search engines will love and other websites will naturally link to. Of course, it's easier said than done.
Welcome to the forum, glad to see you here! :)
Stick to a limited number of sites or top sites.
Printing your website logo and website on T-shirts is a fun way of advertising though we never really tried it. I think custom t-shirts add to your brand is something that is concrete and that people can relate to.
I too never heard of above mentioned sites. I think CJ is the biggest and best affiliate network
Agreed to above comments... simple way to boost your site's credibility is by making your contact information clear: phone number, physical address, and email address.
We have both company and personal accounts. Building a social network from scratch is a real tough one. Observe how others, including your competition, are participating on the social media platform you chose.

Better to check the availability of your name at the Trademarks Registry first. If it is not already registered... register it right away. It is worthwhile meeting with a trademark attorney.
Also when giving out business cards you can put your facebook profile link on there if you're not into proactively inviting people.
Spread the word! Post your group everywhere, invite friends.
I've turn off Buzz in all my Gmail accounts. I just want Email. Nothing else.
I've limited myself so that I actually keep up with them... facebook and LinkedIn and few forums.
I may not... it also depends. If it has been long and if we are still in the not talking phase then probably shouldn't leave her msg for Valentine's Day. I think its just going to make her angry and uncomfortable on a day that is meant to be a joyous time for couples.
There were some great ads on during the Super Bowl as usual... Tim Tebow' ad was good!
I agree that you want to find quality links to exchange with. Not just someone who will put your link in a big link farm and give you no benefit whatsoever.
Print your URL and email address on all letterheads, business cards & compliment slips. This way everyone that you ever come into contact with has your web address.
What aspects do you want to control?
Good tips... The key is to find a balance between good design that engages your readers and that works in search to attract your readers in the first place.

This is a good guide, which I'll be sure to share with co-workers, friends and family. I especially appreciate the notes on Facebook.
In most cases, social media marketing can help create a steady stream of organic traffic and fixed, longer tailed rankings
To start with... Fill out your bio properly. Your bio is the only place you have to tell people who you are and why they should follow you.
Social bookmarking can be good to an extent, if you have power users on your side on sites like Propeller, Delicious, Reddit, StumbleUpon and Digg.
