Some may consider being online a waste of time to begin with. I wonder if these PTC programs are beneficial for the advertisers.

The majority of advertisers use an ad network like Dart/Doubleclick but I prefer Pointroll for rich media. So can someone in this board share their experience with Dart or ATLAS?

I agree with you. I do think that these services not only provide additional information about you and your whereabouts, but it will also be information that can be used by advertisers for relaly atargeted behavioral targeting. I also can see a smart stalker using such information to haunt somebody …

I am trying to access how social media is used for work purposes other than doing a Facebook Fan outreach. I personally use social media to conduct a manual qualitative assessment on consumers' attitudes and behavior towards a particular treatment or condition. What about you?

Thanks for bringing this very important issue up. Nowadays, many social sites broadcast and capitilize on a user's email address book - making it viral but also capturing any associated information along with it. Social networks have shaved away the important concept of privacy but it can come back and …

I totally agree with you Jenn. I also recommend that the first post poses a question or inquiry rather than be a testimonial for some product with a link that might be seen as self promotional.

I personally was in a similar dilema some time ago. I concluded that: 1. For some reason, you hardly find any .me or .us domains/sites on SERPs 2. search engine crawlers may not crawl as often on .me or .us sites (can someone please confirm this for me). 3. you …

I actually have used Cnet for downloads in the past and it was a great repository for freeware and shareware software, however, I found that many of the offerings were outdated. Maybe it changed now since last time I checked a few years ago.

Yes - just remember that the process can become a little expensive but its better to do it upfront than later on when you have a very successful (7 figures and above) business and then the other company with your name sues you for trademark infringement.
