found reference to the error with google ,divix codex releated ,removed divix codex and downloaded latest version and no more error

I have gotten that a few times myself and only way i got rid of it was to create a new user and delete the old one

Right click on the desktop/properties /screen saver /power ,along the top is power schemes ,advanced /hibernate /ups ,that the way it is on my XP pro andy whay .if yourse is like that click hibenate and make sure it isn't checked off .
if its not there then in the Bios you should find something about hibernate .

In the bios you should be able to disable floppy boot seek!or change the boot sequence to C,A

Also hijackthis has its own help fourm ,wher your log might be better read .Because you do have a CoolWebSearch variant on your computer ,the CWshredder should rid you of it ,also use AD-Aware and SpyBot

did you check the settings in outlook and make sure the outgoing mail is setup correctly ,
should be something like this ,in outlook ,tools /accounts /properties /servers,and make sure the outgoing mail server is entered correctly !

With no luck ,does that mean the recovery didn't help or you didn't get the recovery to work !!

beeps are codes,,how many beeps ,one continuous beep is video ,or one long 2 short is ram you have to count them and they are long and short .like one long and 3 short and so on and so on . pick you bios from the list

I've neverr use 2000,but in all the other windows versions i have use it is in control panell/add, remove programs ,add windows components /accessories ,check note pad to install ,if it allready checked then uncheck and uninstall it then recheck it and reinstall it .

you say outlook express and then outlook ,two different programs ,express comes with Internet Explorer ,and Outlook comes with Office .so if you need to update to express 6 then update your internet explorer on the winfows update site .In IE click tools /windows update .
