NTFS should work with NTFS-3G. If you are on Snow Leopard you have to download a 64bit build of MacFUSE and then NTFS-3G. NTFS-3G is also for Linux and Windows 7 supports NTFS out of the box.

it might be that 802.11b doesn't support WPA. you should try buying a PCMCIA/USB wireless card supporting 802.11g and that should work.

try repairing the network card by right clicking on the two computers icon and press something like Diagnose and Repair. If that doesn't work update the network card drivers. Also replace ZoneAlarm with Comodo Firewall(way better)

I like Ubuntu because of the good community, easy to use with Gnome, updating and installing programs is not bad,Installing Ubuntu takes 5-10 minutes on a machine with a fast SATA drive.

em... I think you should try uninstalling firefox, removing registry keys set by Firefox and also all files. After that reinstall firefox

The best I know is UltraVNC. Just install it and configure it to not show a toolbar icon. P.S. Install it in a directory like 3bdb534563646 so it cant be spotted

It might be that the motherboard doesn't recognize your card. Try using another card to change bios settings and then it should work If that doesn't work use another card to install the drivers

Member Avatar for chizy2

Disconnect them, then uninstall the drivers from Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager and then connect them again and it should install them again
