Move hijackthis out to a permanent folder instead of running it from the zip file. Post the MBA-M log that shows what was removed.

Have you tried different sticks of RAM in each of the dimm slots? I think it very strange that you have changed everything, yet still have the existing problem. Try resetting the cmos with no power to the board.

You can either navigate to the bridge.dll locations & delete them, (after backing up your registry, of course). Or, you can download & run HijackThis & delete all instances of it with that.

When you have compressed air, you end up with condensation. There is a chance that some moisture has gotten in where it shouldn't have and made something go pop.

Reset the bios is the first thing that I would do. The new RAM will have different timings to the old, but the pc will still be trying to boot on the old RAM's timings. What hardware (exactly) are you running?

Sorry to contradict, but Spybot is next to useless in removing modern malware. @ the OP. Post the log from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Run winsockfix as suggested and see if you can get online.

Anything from a 4870 up in single card set-ups will be fine. 4850 if you go crossfire. If you want DX11, go for the 5XXX series. Try not to start too many threads on this subject or you will find that they will disappear :).

The New Normal is spot on. Check/upgrade your power supply first as you do not want to buy an expensive card just to find it will not run. It will need two connectors for the graphics card too.
