Is it a pc or a laptop. If it is a pc then turn off sleep mode in Control Panel - Power Options. It may be caused by some type of infection. What protective software do you have and what does it say when you do a full scan?

It looks like the Mbam database update may have removed the problem. Could you post a fresh Mbam scan along with an HJT log in your next post. http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html

Have a good Google of your monitor's make and model and see if you can find either information about supported refresh rates or a driver for it.

Hp's are well known for their built in graphics cards failing. If it is still under warranty then get the shop to sort it. If it is out of warranty then you will need to take it to a professional and that can be very expensive indeed.

You need to figure out why it keeps turning off. The first thing that could be causing it is an overheating CPU. You need to get inside your pc and make sure that the CPU fan is working and you also need to clear out all dust from the heatsink …

It does indeed sound like the hard drive has had it. Replacing it may be the only option. You could try downloading memtest via google. Run it for atleast 7 passes, any errors at all and the memory needs to be replaced.

There are instructions on how to do it here - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html Once you have done that you need to locate and delete the following files that are in …

That is a classic sign of a graphics card on it's way out I'm afraid. Replacement is the one and only solution.

Try removing the mains power plug. Then remove the bios battery for about 1 minute then refit it, re-connect the mains power and give it a whirl. The bios battery is a round silver object with CR2032 pressed into it. If that doesn't work, remove and refit the ram and …

By CPU I assume you actually mean PC? Your PSU (Power Supply Unit) is undoubtedly what has died as it provides the +5 volts that the USB system uses. You will need to replace it.

That is because your bios battery has gone flat. It is almost without doubt a CR2032 battery and can very easily be replaced. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4d/Battery-lithium-cr2032.jpg Once you have replaced it you will need to go into your computer's bios and set the time and date correctly.

1394 is the firewire port. 1394 is the controlling chipset for it. What you probably need to do is look up the make and model of your laptop and download and install all the drivers for it.

It's what happens when you download dodgy and highly illegal software.
c:\documents and settings\administrator\desktop\programs downloaded\installed\winrar1\winrar.v3.71.1.0\patch.exe (Trojan.Downloader) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
The first thing to do is to check if the power switch is connected correctly and that the wires aren't broken on it.

The cpu may be difficult to obtain so increasing ram will be your best option. Also, if you have built in graphics then a plug in card (provided your pc has a slot for it) can also help a fair bit.
