He has created folders on outlook that's not in his yahoo account.

but those folders will not be in the Outlook on the laptop ,unless you add them
when you setup outlook on the laptop,
as i said i use windows live mail 2011,and have my hotmail acct setup in it, and created folders there, that show up on hotmail.com

so before we go on we are talking about Microsoft Office "outlook" and not
Windows "outlook express" right

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I tried to fix the same problem,

Wonder did you both have the same squeak noise

same problem !! can be caused by software or hardware

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

{quote]I changed WIndow to XP [earlier i had Window7].
Now problem had risen , whenever i even play video it get restarted , when window 7 starts it get restarted .

so witch is it wixp or win7

you don't say what games or what type of games ,like online or if they are high intense graphic games it maybe you 450w power supply ,maybe you system just isn't good enough to play the game ,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

so why not just use yahoo.com to check it on the laptop when he's away .
are you talking about Outlook or Outlook express

quote/The problem I run into is when I go in account setting and enter his information it tells me that he email already exist

I don't see how outlook on the laptop would even know that its setup on the desktop

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

YEP, it worked b4 the upgrade, an now its asif it dont have one?!

not sure who you are replying to, as no one asked that question

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I would be very happy for it to be the video board.

very few laptops have changeable video board ,usually just really expensive gaming laptops

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I really want to put a new video card in my computer but I have no clue where it is. HEre is a video I put:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_J2URmAeHI

you don't have a video card ,you have integrated video device ,a chip built into the motheboard ,and it not likely you will be able to run much of a card anyway because of the power supply in that emachine .the black slot at the top right corner is a be a pci-E slot it would take a low profile card ,you are not going to make a gaming computer out of that tower'

also one of your parents just called and she said to tell you to clean your room .lol

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

did you check device manager and see if it was missing any other device drivers

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

try hitting f10 on bootup it may give you access to the factory recovery partiton

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

HI caperjack,
thanks for that. I thought that the installation would stop when the system tries to install the usb drivers. Any chance that could happen?

no,if you get the option to boot from a usb device in the BIOS,or boot option [sometime found when hitting f10 or f12 on bootup ] it will not need to install usb drivers

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

Hi all.. I'm facing a problem with my Laptop Hardisd, My laptop got crashed so i removed the harddisk from laptop and i fixed into a USB case, to acess my data's,

so what seems to be the problem,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

Microsoft sells a family pack which allows you to install Winidows 7 Home on up to three computers. As for upgrade/full, you can actually do a full (from scratch) install of Windows 7 from an upgrade disk. See

http://www.winsupersite.com/article/windows-7/clean-install-windows-7-with-upgrade-media

yeah you could do that with vista as well ,you just install it without putting in the key, then when after the install is done , you take the dvd out ,then put the dvd back in and start the install from within windows and it sees itself as a previous install and reinstalls and then you put the key in ,something like that ,i have done it with a vista upgrade disk i just threw away

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

it should work ,set the boot order option to usb device/cdrom

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

hi,go to start ,in the search or in run type in MSCONFIG , go to start up tab ,and check for and remove any known programs updaters ,like Adobe/Itunes ect ect and many many more that nay be there

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I have tried it in the past and those keys on the bottom of the PCs only works with OEM disks, not full disks or upgrade disks.

well like i sad i do it all the time and they work for me

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

You will not be able to use the key on the bottom of the computer.

and why not I/we do it all the time on customers laptops when they don't have there recovery dvd's ,and the harddrive is dead .and I/we just use a Retail win7 dvd[same version as thers] to install it ,and just use the key on the bottom of the laptop

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

you need to buy the exact version that's on you wife's laptop .so you can install it on her laptop using her key[it should be on the underside of the laptop] ,and then install it on your computer ,using the new key that came with new win7 ,follow ,unless you buy multiple key version of win7 it can only be installed on one computer

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

[snipped quoted spam link]

what a pile of crap in that link ,they even make an assumption that the drive was dropped and has bad sectors ,and suggest taking it to a repair shop

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

lets start with this fact ,you cant upgrade from winxp to win7 needs to be a full install .you should run the win7 upgrade advisory on the xp computer .
download it here http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=20

as for you wife's laptop she should have system restore disks ,or she could try holding down the zero key and boot the laptop and it should take the laptop to a recovery/restore to factory settings option ,make sure to back up any important data she may need to save .

Uninstall all trial or earlier versions of Office installed on the machine and try installing Office 2010,oh and i don't think there is such thing as a free version of office 2010 ,its likely just a trial version ,same as the one all ready pre install with
new computers .

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

Caperjack, I find it truly annoying that you need to known why lodaleader decided to install a new power supply in your second question, you should have asked that in your first one. You are not helping with his problem if you keep answering his questions with more questions. To refocus, his question simply was:

Why does a computer power supply shut off after two seconds?

Do you think you can answer that without playing 20 questions?

what ever , i find it annoying that you post a comment to a year old thread ,oh and i love 20 questions

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

with a disk in the drive and you open mycompuyter and click on the drives icon does it open the cd/dvd.
the auto play fixit might help with this problem .

I have tried many browsers and find the best by far is Mozilla Firefox. It has more features, good add-ons, and plug-ins. I don't like chrome because of how pages are loaded, some don't work, and it very often just shows a blank screen for me.

i like most browser ,what i don't like is signature link spammers

1.Connect the memory stick to a memory stick slot on your computer. If your computer does not have a memory stick slot, obtain a memory card reader and plug the card reader into an available USB port.

2.Power on your computer. Depending on your computer, press the "ESC," F2" or "F10" key on your keyboard to access the BIOS option when prompted.

3.Wait for the computer to detect your memory stick, and once the computer recognizes your memory stick, select it as the primary boot disk for installing XP.

4.Press the "Esc" button to exit BIOS and resume with normal boot-up.

5.Click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.

6.Find the memory stick drive, and double-click to open the browser window.

7.Find your Windows XP installation file, and double-click to begin the installation process.

8.Follow the on-screen instructions for installation.

9.Restart your computer once the process is complete to finish installation of your Windows XP.

10.Read more: How to Install XP on a Memory Stick

start by checking the computer makers web site

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

using the winxp cd ,try partitioning the drive into 3 x50 gb ,see what happens

I have it taken apart. To get to where the LCD plugs into the motherboard, all I have to do is pop the plate the is above the keyboard, off. That plate just has the on/off button and a couple other buttons on it. After I pop that plate off I can plug and unplug the LCD to the motherboard. I have plugged in 2 different LCD's so far. Now, there was no 100% guarentee that both LCD's worked, so I am ordering a whole LCD setup and will plug that in and see if that might be it. I will keep ya updated.

good luck .
yeah ,that all i have to do to,mine is a presario cq50.last time i rerouted the wire to under the hinge and it kept working for close to 4 months now ,but the white screen comes and goes when i move the lid ,till it gets really bad i will have to take it apart soon

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

Humor is good........how about a solution, LOL

i agree ,but i don't have a solid answer ,just an opinion ,and i think it a bad connection between the lcd and the motherboard ,the laptop im using right not has a bsad connection and goes white with lines but i fix it by opening and moving the wires from the lcd a bit and its good for a few months then starts over ,and its time to take it apart and fix it now
