I have a 54 MBps when using wireless and the test results were 4.02 while upload speed were 1.10 mbps. So i think there is nothing wrong with your connection. Are you connecting with cable or wireless?

If all else fails, take your laptop to a repair shop. Maybe your bluetooth card had is faulty.

Parental control can block websites ot you firefox addons . Leachblock is one add on that can block sites.

It could be a backlight or inverter failure. Try unpluging the power cord, remove the battery and then hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. Attach the power cord and try starting up.

There are a lot of motherboard you can use and Asus is one of them. MSI and Intel have good motherboards too.

Well I use to have this problem a few months back then, but when a Daniweb Staff, Blud fix the site stalling issue, I no longer have this problem. When did you start having this problem and usually when does this occur?

Just adding to what flagstar said about. I have never use an Acer product before but from one I heard the parts tend to wear down easily. If you like a netbook, why not go for a lenovo one. Lenovo hardware is known to be better and is the third largest computer manufacturer in the world.

If you are an avid gamer, why not just buy a gaming laptop. It has all the requirements like Ram, proccessor you want.

So your computer is not having problem with booting up prior to the thread title? What is your current graphics card?

So that means you do not have to update your bios anymore:). You might want to take a look at this.

Try removing the ram sticks one at a time ( if you have two ). Meaning using a ram stick at one time, the ram sticks could be causing the problem.

Why did you unplug the ram in the first place?

What version of IE are you using? Under toolbar, is the favourites bar box check with a tick?

When was the last time you were able to use your laptop normally and what did you do after that? It could have cause the problem. Did you upgrage the bios and do you hear any beep codes?

Try using another spare motherboard and test it out. I have a hunch that your motherboard might be damage. Just a hunch, did you make sure the motherboard was dry before you re-assembled your PC?

You said you edit the card. Try deleting the group or delete the card. After you delete the card, does the contact still shows up in All Contacts?

Based on your results, Google DNS is faster than Open DNS. But the results may be different in other countries.

Go to your device manager and check whether your audio driver is properly installed. There should not be any red x or exclamation mark there. Is there any thing jam inside the built in speaker?

I have to disagree with you. The MAC address can be changed either the normal way, throught the advanced control panel, using a software or registry. But some wifi cards does not allow you to do that.
