It always says "this website is listed under 'such and such'" and requests an admin username and password to bypass it. lolz... I don't have the guts to really do it, but its nice to know.

The cmos battery is usually located somewheres on the motherboard. It could be either a barrel style solder, coin cell, or some other types o' batterys. The batteries look like their names usually. Dont know if it will clear the password though.

Yeah, its probably the video card or motherboard. Try switching around the parts to, err... switch them around, then see if your monitor works with the other video card or motherboard. Please try the video card first, much easier. Probably video card, maybe motherboard, definitly not software. Good luck.

My school website always translates the password I enter into a really really long one. It changes every time and confuses IE. IE always asks to change the password to the new one, but IE always records the long one. I don't want to switch back to Firefox or Opera.

If I buy a new AMD CPU, do I have to buy a new fan too or can I use the fan from my previous AMD CPU with a different socket? Do the sockets have to be the same?

Right now intel holds the place for fastest cpu, the intel core 2 duo extreme. But, as a lot of people say, amd processors are much cheaper than intel ones. Some time next year, amd will become faster again by creating quadruple cpu cores.

If you're looking to spend around $100, I don't really think you can buy 2 new 1gb ram. Not sure about which will give you precisely more performance, but I think the cpu is more in need of an upgrade than the 1gb of ram.

A good motherboard for the core 2 extreme would be any motherboard thats fairly new and has the right type of chipset to work with it.... Most of the newer motherboards can work with it.

I really dont think that you can spend less than a hundred dollars on a power supply to supply that. And if your willing to spend so much on the computer parts, why dont you spend the same on the thing that powers them?

It really shouldnt damage the screen, but ive heard that some games need better monitors. But you have just bought a new tv so i guess its okay. Actually, now that i think about it, you should stick with the resolution that they gave you on the box.

If your motherboard supports dual channel memory, then you could get a preformance boost by pairing up two sticks that are exactly the same in memory, speed, manufacturer, etc. But then, if you dont have many slots, you could go for just one, larger, stick.

Maybe its not your motherboards problem, it could easily be a loose or broken cord, or a deffective hard drive. I doubt that the motherboard would malfunction. So many ram slots!!!!!!

If you cant fit the sink fan back on, you probably have to apply some more force to it. Or, make sure your inserting it in properly. Don't forget to add more cooling compound!

You could try to go to a computer fixing place to fix your computer, or if your hardware comes with accidental damage protection you could get it fixed, or you could simply try to buy a new motherboard.
