Are they the fancy Apple monitors with the clear plastic border? If so, they use an ADC connector. It's a special type of DVI connector that puts DVI, USB, and power into one cable. First, you'll need to ensure that your video card has DVI support. You'll then need to …

Please note you're posting in the Service Requests forum for paid requests only. Have you tried either vBAdvanced or vBIndex ?? In addition, which version of vBulletin are you running? 2.x or 3?

I am using the local invocation code with phpAdsNew. However, I would like to make the code that it outputs XHTML compliant. Does anyone know where I could edit this in the code? Thanks!

Yes, I know him. I talk to him via MSN almost daily. The next time I talk to him, I'll point him towards this thread and have him get in touch with you.

I was in Manhattan the other day, and there was a huge line of people waiting outside some computer store at nearly midnite to get their hands on the game ;)

Hmm. That's pretty weird. SP2 has a new feature where you can enable program defaults. You can find it in the same Add / Remove programs setting in the Control Panel. You should be able to deselect IE from there. In addition, if you right click on IE and go …

DaniWeb and cprogramming.com are indeed two entirely different forums and communities. Jwenting is just pointing out that your question has already been completely answered at that other site. So members here should not take the time to reply the same answers you've already received at the other site.

Just be sure you have int target and not n target ;) If anything, it's good code practice to use descriptive variable names.

Aitch, I don't think that will work because it isn't the BIOS password that's the problem. It's the Windows password. With Windows 2000/XP, when you install Windows you generally create two accounts ... a normal user account and an Administrator account. For some reason it may be trying to access …

Not that I know of (in DOS). You need something like WinXP that detects hardware, installs drivers, and mounts volumes on the fly (i.e. plug 'n' play)

As of late last night (Friday nite), 10.3.6 was released via OS X Software Update. It includes lots of minor bug fixes mostly, including the floating point calculation problem in calculator, as well as updates to Safari and ATi and Nvidia video card drivers.

You can try calling up Microsoft customer service. Your registration key should be located on the CD jewel case or CD slip and, if I remember correctly, also somewhere in the manual.

Sweet system ... 64-bit processor with an ultra cool video card. The only thing that I would change is that I would think about perhaps an SATA hdd. This is what's currently in my system -> http://www.westerndigital.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=65

I did a search and can't find any other threads related to an advanced tab missing. However, there is a thread related to the general tab of the IE properties missing. You can find it here: [thread]947[/thread] Hopefully the solution is the same or similar.

Hmm ... what about a return; statement in the middle of the function? Or you could use a break; statement to break out of a loop. For example,
void f(int x) { while (true) { move_forward(x); if (bumper) return; } return; }
Hmm, I've never encountered this before, but I will have to admit that IE is prone to corruption :( You should be able to download IE from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx If memory serves correctly, the installer automatically uninstalls an old version before re-installing. There might also be a "repair" feature instead of …

I don't think Longhorn is going to be released until 2005-2006 (or was it 2007?) so I think it's too early to tell. If it were easy to make FAT32 support backwards compatible with FAT16, I can't see any reason why Microsoft wouldn't do it. But I don't think they're …

At absolute least a bachelors. An MBA is an amazing way to break into corporate I.T., especiall with computer science or CIS as an undergrad. Also, perhaps some certifications targeted towards the career you're going for. More than anything, experience is important.

EEk. This is why you always do backups ;) Hehe. If I remember correctly, SP2 was pretty darn buggy when it first came out. Theoretically, you should be able to just go to Add/Remove programs, but I wouldn't count on it doing a clean job, especially with something as integral …

AdSense works based on Google AdWords (http://adwords.google.com). Basically, advertisers bid on keywords ... anywhere from 5 cents to a few dollars per click. When the keywords are found on a page containing AdSense, the advertisers' ads are shown. When someone clicks on an AdSense ad on your site, you receive …

Are you using vBulletin to power your message board? If not, you may need to write a ranking system yourself. In PHP, you would use a for loop to repetitively print out a .gif image, depending on a member's reputation.
