Have noticed a huge drop in backlink count and pages indexed this week. Anyone else notice this? Has it affected traffic from the engines for you?

Ad campaigns cannot simply be removed. Each campaign is often the result of weeks of negotiations resulting in signed contracts.

Div tags are generally used to encapsulate paragraphs, body content, and for text/image positioning and layout. Span tags are used to emphasize a word or two, such as
<div>This is my paragraph. I would like to <span style="font-weight:bold">emphasize</span> this word.</div>
I was wondering if any of you guys know of a good tutorial on regex. I'm able to do most of the simple stuff, but still confused by some of the more advanced pattern matching.

You're very lucky ... it depends upon your site's niche. AdWords advertisers bid on keywords ... if a lot of advertisers are bidding a lot of money on the keywords that appear on your site, then you're going to make more money per click. How well your site performs also …

I never spend too much time thinking about what my competition is doing. If you do that, you'll spend all your time trying to figure it out and not actually doing.

It is very important to always get new backlinks on a regular basis. If you have good, quality content, they will come naturally, as people will want to link to you on their own. Bloggers are great for this. Content is key.

TribalFusion is a very reputable ad network / site representation firm. Depending upon the category in their network a website who uses them is placed, you might get some of the uglier Punch-the-Monkey type of ads, but those can typically be filtered out IF the website owner chooses. In Lerner's example, you can see that the IF code is wrapped in brackets but he didn't do the same for the ELSE code. That's because when there is only one line, brackets are implied and therefore not needed. (Although I would recommend them, especially when starting out.)

Scroll down to the very bottom of the site and, right above the copyright, it should say "The time now is XXX". Make sure the time it says is the same as your current local time. Otherwise, change your settings accordingly.

The concept behind CSS is that you're separating the content from the design. The search engines only crawl the content.

You've posted this in the ASP.NET forum so I assume it's a .NET based application? If so, do you have a web server installed locally? I'm not familiar with Visual Studio but I assume it would come with something?
