You mean SmartBarXP? Or in default of Windows because your going to need a theme/skin and/or a program to do that.

The Horse Power Of The Internet: The Newsgroups
Sit back get a cup of coffee it's time for another tale of technology
by Jimmy Freligh Jr | June 5th, 2004
The central backbone of the Internet many people don’t realize are the Newsgroups. Newsgroups come in many different colors, shapes and sizes. A lot people don’t realize that most of the software, music, movies all come from the Newsgroups first. People on IRC and other different types of P2P programs all that data really comes from the Newsgroups. Like it or not that is just the way it is and has been. Picture the Newsgroups as a collection of networks a worldwide network that almost everybody has access to uploading and sharing information and answering people’s questions. A giant bulletin board where you can read/write/download/upload etc etc. Many people never heard of the Newsgroups because it is old dark way of getting information it is as underground as underground gets it is an untouched network, no laws and no rules. It is probably the biggest public file server available on the Internet and the most complex. When I say file server this file server is called USENET and the folders on it are called Newsgroups inside the Newsgroups are articles, these articles being files/text. Picture Newsgroups as a series of folders sitting on a giant file server that server called USENET. Picture yourself posting a text file on the Newsgroups with a question well chances are tomorrow …
I know people will answer this differently then me but, get off Win98.
Something is wrong you forgot your password or mis thinking of the wrong password.
What a nice guy too bad nobody calls me ha I learned my lessons.
I don't know what to tell you there can be so many things wrong have you called Dell and I am sure someone on here can help you.
Weird how are you connecting to the internet USB? or ethernet?
It's the cable gone bad seriously time for a new monitor cable and/or a monitor. Juggle the cable till it turns white tape it into that position.
Becareful for BIOS terms if it isn't broken don't fix it.
Try F8 make sure it is a bootable CD man let us no more details.
I am at work right now when I get home I will throw you the link to download it, it is about 30KB. If I don't get back to you please remind me.
Not a problem t0x and DMR good stuff ha! You guys have a good one see you on the threads.
ha good stuff man you know what is better then coffee try Nodoz in the bottle. Trust me you will want to type you want to clean and you love everything for a good 4 hours.
Right right good stuff well I am now getting the drop down on google.com/yahoo etc etc ebay search is still not drawing the dialog box. History I all ready made sure it would be like 20 days. So anywho can we say were half way done haha. Reinstalling IE seriously I think would be a waste no spyware on this PC we really don't go on the internet on it 24/7.
From CAT:
On the Advanced tab, Jimmy, under 'Browsing', ensure that "Use Inline Autocomplete" is checked.
That did it.
Ok let me try this when I get home better yet let me try right now I will get back to you please shot me more facts and information going to try everything you guys said. Thanks
Not clear them but, for it to even drop down. I want the history I want it to drop down I was there today playing with those two options no luck. You understand what I am saying I wish I would have a screen shot I don't know what that drop down menu is called in search results.
No man this is a check box somewhere in IE I wanted some help in. For example.
Go to ebay.com when you do a search lets say for 50 different things a week later you go back on ebay.com and do another search then you decide you want to search for the same thing you did a week ago. So you press Down Arrow and your history of your search appears.
Understand now?
Ok here's the deal a employee of mine has a problem. A simple fix I can't fix.
In Internet Explorer there is a "drop down" menu that appears on Search Engines & Ebay etc etc. When you search for let's say "Games" you can press 'Down Arrow' and you have the other search results listed below 'Games' that you searched for in the previous days.
This drop down box is plain white you can't make it bigger it just appears right below your search results. Does this make sense? Someone people help me.
Who contacted him and Tek answer your emails bro and Dani you too haha well I guess that answers your questions.
Tekmavan is his name but, I doubt he will see this contact him on the fourm he is a super mod
It might be your monitor cable there are a ton of things that can be wrong. BTW try another monitor see it that works.
The God's of the fourms can haha so did your problem get fixed?
So it works now? If so close this topic reduce the massive size of some of the topics.
Seriously check if the motherboard is grounded to the case. If it doesn't seem to be grounded on the case take it out and put it back in and see if it then displays/boots. Check to see if everything is in the sockets if it looks like they are perfect take them out and reseat them.
Wow a lot of questions I can't answer give it a day or so see if we can get a registry expert in here.
I am totally lost on this one any body else have advice? I would recommand a Reinstall of the OS or reformat but, hey that's just me.
I agree with both of you but, when playing games on a E-Machine or really any box out there playing high end games your system is going to spike to 100%.
As for safe mode not bumping to 100% because your running Windows in half. Your really only using the shell of Windows thus not causeing it to spike to 100%. Seriously don't worry about it now if your spiking 100% when not playing games that is a different story. Tell your boyfriend not to trip it's only a computer.
What version of IE are you using? Have you tired other browers? Did you run the update feature on all the programs including Windows Update? Let us know.
Seriously I don't know why you have 3 firewalls but, it's time to just have one that can cause it to be all jacked up. Seriously kill all your firewalls if your behind a router. Let us know what the results are.
If it's IE6 make sure you have SP1
Chances are all your "IE" problems will go away.
One thing you need ASAP.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp4/default.asp
Get SP4 don't wait on it.
Still didn't touch it but, I did touch on perl. Want to see a sample?
It's not fully done yet give me another week or so exactly just computers haha I am a geek man. I will be posting more and more pictures as the time flys. Stay tuned.
Download the entire Service Pack so it will reinstall Outlook Express.
Ask Ryan about Novell he is an expert I know it but, not as well as he does.
Yeah waiting for the answer on this one I just hide it don't delete it but, I don't use IE any more so there is no problem now.
Dial up is your wrong dueing problem sloved sorry dude but, it's dial up.
