did you run any spyware /trojans removal tools lately ,it may have seen it as spyware ,and removed that file

you need to check both computers device manager and make sure that the network adapters are correctly installed .
device manager .right click on mycomputer go properties, then hardware ,/device manager . hit the + by network adapters ,

you did system restore ,before or after you removed the upper and lower filters , go back to regedit and check and make sure they no longer excist in the registry .
if you are comfortable opening the tower, open and check that the power and ribbon cables are plugged in correctly ,

more people use IE because its on the box when they buy it ,and have no idea how to or for that matter tat they can actually install another browser , I fix computers and hang out at local computer shop when not working or fix computers at home ,and when I ask people what browser they use the answer/question back is whats' as browser ! in short the majority haven't got a clue !My favorite user question isn't browser related but it goes like this ,jack i put a cd in the cdrom drive and nothing happens ,how do i get the file of the cd,or the cd to open , I say did you go to mycomputer and click on the cdrom icon !Answer usually goes like this wheres mycomputer ,oh , hey it worked ,thanks !!!! that comes from new users and people who owned the computer for 5 to 10 yrs !

did a google on this ,Stuck in InsydeH2O Setup Utility,and all i find is you posting for help on about 6 different forums ,and seems mad mike is following you with the same answer, to reset bios to defaults ,give it a try.

I have an M1270N doing the same thing (won't power on).
The power LED at the back blinks.
But if I remove the ATX power connector from the Mobo the power LED is lit steady.

The ATX power connector is a 24 pin not a 20 pin.

Did you find a solution to the problem?

FYI - mine stopped working after I blew the dust out :(

did you shut it down before you blew it out ,unplug all power plugs and replug ,remove ram and reseet it ,
its possibly a bad power supply ,or even a bad motherboard ,remove all add-in pci cars ,and try again

if it take 15 to turn on i would say its broke ,is it old and wore out, maybe time fore a new one, or take it to repair shop

Thank you folks for replying. This is on u-tube and yes it is the large displays. I checked my internet actual speed and download is 4842 kb/s and upload is 480. So it is your opinion that this is a driver problem. I will check and see what I can do about it.

i think its a utube problem ,don't go there much but when i do i find the video quality sucks ,the quality of the videos people post i mean ! really bad quality

i tried the long post again and it turns black part way down ,last nite it worked fine

it loaded the long page no problem ,and my pages here load quite fast, no problem , i do have problem with speed on occasions on this site and the long post, just not right now

Firefox does NOT like DW. I don't know why, but one particular symptom is tha it cannot render pages containing a long post.
Opera copes admirably.. no problems at all.

i use latest firefox and useto have that problem with long post.it seems to work fine now

i recently fixed a Dll that was acting the same keyboard wise ! kid spiled juice on keyboard ,a little go through ,but motherboard was ok ,keyboard acted funny like yours , i disconnected the keybioard and use a usb keyboard that acted the exact same way as the laptop one.i bough new keyboard and installed it and problem is fixed ,i was surprised that the usb keyboard acted funny to, doing the same things as the bad keyboard

sort of sounds like a problem with the keyboard ribboncable connection to the mboard

a lot of new laptops only have vista drivers written for the things you mention you are having problems with ,no xp drivers .i assume you already tried toshiba for xp drivers

I don't think they are diagnostic indicators either ,there should be a symbol by each light and what it represents,like harddrive ,power, ,ect ect

I could post the minidumps if someone would like to take a stab at looking at them to determine the cause of the BSOD. .

i have seen motherboard usb connections melted/burnt right off and some wires above the plug with the plastic coating burnt off, board had a powered usb hub installed.

when the cover comes off throw it away or have it fixed .!

so did you check and see if the bios battery is indeed dead! easy check is to make a small change in the bios ,save it and exit shut down computer and unplug it from power source for awhile ,then plug it back in and check see if bios still has it saved .

try booting into the bios and see if it detects the hard drive ,or if you can auto detect it [depends on age of bios ] chances of booting into it on another computer are slim unless you do a repair install after you install it in the other computer

I think plugged in my old PSU, old CPU and new RAM, nothing. I tried taking the ram out and loading with both the old and new psu, and still nothing.

Possible Solution......go to Start /run/ type in ,regedit.and do the following

There are 2 reg keys that can screw the device......remove them both and reboot......

The keys are:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325 -11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} - "Upperfilters" and "Lowerfilters".

What do you mean it's probably always been on ide? For the first years they owned it I was on their machine and it was in raid 1 then and working fine.
