unfortunately i cannot download this software to run the scans cause i cannot boot up windows successfully. any other suggestions? I just dont wanna lose my sons football videos. its his senior year...no more football as a high schooler!

unless the harddrive died you should be able to connect the drive to another computer via a
external harddrive case or slave it to a working computer ,or take it to a computer repair shop to see if th\ey can recover the videos for you

you should charge it fully and they drain it fully 2 to 3 time
so charge it unplug it and use it till it goes dead ,then repeat that 2-3 times to set battery

hi, did you read the requirements needed ,system specs , minimum is a P41.8 cpu ,recommended is a P4 2.4 cpu and 1 gig of ram minimum 512 me ram .

I would password it and do like so many of the big guys do, give password to those that buy the cd

i have never bought software with a password ,a key # touse to install it maybe ,but not a password ,having said that the key doesn't stop hackers from cracking you software

try turning off the monitor ,and leave it off until windows boots completely ,with monitor turned off .turn on the computer ,go walk the dog [or go have a pee,lol]and then turn on the monitor when you get back to see what happened

its just a suckie web site,works fo me on IE9 BETA ,but not on firefox 3.6.10

my opinion is no it would not ,but you have to remember it is a cpu /ram intence program now ,with so many plugins and such.open ie ,go to tools,manage addons ,and disable them and see how it works

sound like the fan not spinning is broke,or got unplugged somehow

did you install drivers for the video device ,vista may have just install the basic default driver, check device manager to see what it has listed foe video device ,if it just basic ,go to web site of computer maker for proper drivers .you will need make and model # of you computer if its a brand name and not a custome build ,company like Dell or Compaq /HP /Emachine /Gateway ect ect

not all laptop fans run all the time ,some only run when the cpu reaches a higher temp that the minimun set in the bios ,and the bios turns on the fans to cool down the cpu

I dug out one of my parent's old computers to fix up for my son but none of the passwords that the family or I could remember works and I can't get in because the administrator password is missing. I do not have a re-boot disk anymore. Is there another way to get in? I don't care if I have to lose data because I was gonna clear it out for him anyway. Anyone have any suggestions?

I may just switch over to Ubuntu like I have on my other computers, go for if you like it then do whats best for you ,i have used many linux live cd but never really like it enough to switch , i been using windows since win 3.11, and rarely have the problems people come here looking for help with ,my win7 install is trouble free almost[lol]since Sept last year
