did you try connecting with both the onboard video and the addin video card

ok,i watched the video,looks ok ,did you use the motherboard book/manual to help with the build ,make sure you have the power switch wires into the correct location on the motherboard

try unplugging the harddrive/dvd drive sata cable from the board and remove the video card and the ram ,and the front case usb connectors ,does it turn on with out them installed .

my opinion is its gone bad for some reason ,that the error I got just before I smasked the few I smashed .lol

not sure if they are fixable ,did you try right clicking on its icon in mycomputer ,go properties/tools and run the disk check,see what it says , ,and maybe then try formatting it ,

yes I under stand that ,by using ultimate boot disk you can check the harddrive in ubcd see the drive and you can try to repartition and format the disk so that windows will be able to see the drive .

to the best of my knowledge it will not delete the partition ,just reinstall on C:\, but having said that nothing is positive with computer and windows ,so its always best to backup any personal data before trying something like this ,back up to a external drive or DVD is my suggestion to you

off th etop of my head, yes,but it could always be something else , thing is, it worked great before you partitioned it correct, what device did you used to connect it to the laptop ,or did you install inside the alptop .

ok,here where it all started ,,thake the harddrive out ,hook it to another computer ,backup all important data ,and remove all partition and reformat the drive,creat multiple partition if that what you want ,then put it back in the laptop and start ove install a fresh win7 .
and yes I have all kinds of experience with user error computer problems,im just better with hands on repair ,than miles away repair ,sorry . good luck

check with aptmt,manager maybe they have something done so you cant use a wireless router on there system

yes a intel i7 has 4 cores,and 2 threads per core ,and if it were mine I would have 8 gig of ram in it just be cause I could, lol.

I think even though your laptop seems to run cool I think with the bigger games its overheating the video chip.just my opinion .
for startes if it we mine I would use a can of compressed air to blow out the heatsinc and fan at least ,it doesn't take much dust to cause them to not cool the cpu and video chip enough.

well according to the speccy report it not old ,just a little over a year and a half ,i would add more ram ,and a video card .

Ditto what happygeek said .and its nothing new ,i first connected to the internet in 1996,and there was all kinds of cracked programs avaible ,maybe not portable apps, will also like to add seeing as you are new to computers[lol] and whats outthere might i suggest Googlehappy hunting .

i use to have a thumdrive full of portable apps ,like firefox and much much more ,a email program .i could plug in the thumb drive into anyones computer check my mail ,surf the net and not add a single thing to anyone computer while doing this ,great stuff actually

if the mic is not open ,then how do you talk to your boyfiend ,its a head set/mic combo correct ,the mic has to be picking up other sound in the room ,unless it has a on off switch ,me thinks anyway .

having said that maybe you mic is plugged into the wrong port on the computer ,what is the make and model of your head set

let me get this strait ,you have a open mic to talk to your boy friend ,and you play music and games out loud, and you don't expect the mic to pick that up and brodcast it to who's ever on the other end ,cant see that not happening
