Re assmeble the parts. Take out the cover and re assemble the parts they might be lose or you might have a malware on your computer. Do a full scan as well

Some computers have already that features. you have to put your thumb over a pad and it will sense your thumb print. There is many software for face login as well. There is a camera at the top of your laptop ( When the screen is open up and facing you ). The camera will sense your face and allow you to enter. Is that what your want?

Some posters have posted the same problem before in daniweb. I will go and check and find the thread for you. Microsoft forums also have solutions to this.

I don't think apple will bother with such an old version of macbook. You might want to purchase the newer version of macbook. There is macbook pro and others. Some files have corrupt your hard drive. Crap!!!!

I think i just gave you the wrong advise. It might be a hard drive failure. Either your friend or you keep tilting the powerbook. Apple products are very fragile and their hard drive will crash if you enver handle it properly. TO handle a laptop properly close the screen down and wait for a while until you know it is in sleep mode. When it is in sleep mode, you can carry the laptop around as the hard disk had stop spinning carrying the laptop around when the hard disk is stil spinning will cause the hard disk to crash. Don't buy a new hard disk Try to borrow a hard disk from anyone, and test it on your powerbook. If their hard disk work and you are able to start up and see the screen that means your hard drive crash. You can either buy a new hard disk for your powerbook or chuck it out of the window and purchase a newer version. i would recommend macbook pro if you want

You can create a private network so other people can enter your network. I have never heard of two network join together but one network only. Is both of your network in the same place. You are trying to say both network combine together into 1 ultra big network. There i don't think is possible

I can't see your image but it does not method. Like capperjack i don't do programming as i am only interested in hardware problems. Every file should have a default software to open it. Since yours does not work, under the dafault app, below should have a few more software you can open the file with. Try those

Just reset the modem and router. Linksy have a reset button at the back, just take a pen go to the back hold down the button for 5 seconds, you will see the first 3 lights of the modem blinking or flashing. ( Both the same anyway )

Try having a firewall to protect the internet and keep your workers or colleages away from harmful websites. You must be careful cause some virus is not actually a virus while some does not seem like a viurs is actually one. My friends had created a virus but is harmless. When you download the file, the file will auto run a program so that your anti virus software will quickly open and detect the file as harmful but actaully is harmless. Try to block out harmful sites that can secretly download files to your laptop and you may never know. Do a scan daily if your company is large and have a lot of workers.

Actually revivng a dead thread is not violating the rules as long it is not hijacking it. But five years still seems long to me. The posters can just start a new thread and post their problems. Furthermore the posters still have nor reply about their problem.
