The streaming is only available if you have Windows Media Centre Edition 2005 by the way Im personally veering towards the 360 tho as my frinds have them. DONT GET THE BASIC/CORE PACKAGE ON PAIN OF DEATH - IT IS USELESS!

wont hurt. do control alt-delete (like you do when something crashes) and choose the processes tab. There will be a liist showing how much CPU and ram each process uses

That means it found a bad sector. Go to run in vista and type chkdsk /f /p /r Reboot and leave it to scan. It will try and repair the bad sector. Once done try running the random seeek test again.

You can still restore it using the DVD drive. You dont need windows to do that. you need to boot from the dvd instead of your hard disk. Check your BIOS settings
