If you go into preferences on the windows update site (which they should have made a program, not a web site but it's ms) you can tell it not to display that update again. I don't know if that's what you are trying to do but I think it would …

Do you want code or a program to do that? If you want code, there's people that'll help you but you have to show effort. If you want a program, search www.techtv.com for "macro".

Sometimes under no apparent reasoning certain processes will use 100% of the processor, causing it to become really hot and slowing down the overall performance of the computer. So far I have had trouble with these processes: trillian.exe, wmplayer.exe, eplorer.exe I have searched for viruses and spyware with no results. …

Actually, while PHP is useful, it is not necessary. I think you can telnet into mysql or something like that. If you were to use a php script, here's some inefficient code: Assuming your database was named "mydb" and your table was named "mytable" and included fields "id" and "text": …

I don't know if this will help but try running Lavasoft's Ad-aware program. I don't think it is a setting inside ie.

You're getting ripped off on the monitor, buy it from a store and you won't have to pay the extra for the shipping. You may want to go with a faster processor with the money you save, assuming your motherboard supports faster. Look on www.pricewatch.com and buy yourself much faster …

no offense fakespike but it doesn't sound like you know enough to be upgrading/building your system yet. but..if you must... you should check out the nforce2 chipset, such as on the asus a7n8x deluxue (i think that's the model, that was from memory so i could be wrong).

Have you tried just talking into the webcam's microphone and seeing if anything comes out of your speakers when the mic isn't muted? Have you tried another program like NetMeeting? Have you updated the camera's drivers (although that's a long shot)?

You just need to know the phone number, username, and password. Then test the connection to make sure it works and uninstall Earthlink's software. That should do …
