caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

6 year old thread and people are still having the same problem ,,and people are still not finding the answer in this thread ,giving the fact that there are 6 ears of suggestion in this thread ,

so i guess i cant add anything to this ,except something that has likely already been said a dozen time in the thread ,
But,i will anyway

did you check for dust buildup causinbg it to overheat .

did you use the manufactors disk utility to check the harddrive for errors ,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

hello .I don't use Linux [played with it a few times but just like windows too much I guess ]but I do use google and found this for you .Skype for Linux .
http://blogs.skype.com/linux/

would need to know the make and model number of the usb modem to help you find drivers for it ,
but if the maker of the device has no Linux drivers I think there are options for youI think this is one of the reasons I don't use Linux ,too much work .lol

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

not sure if they are fixable ,did you try right clicking on its icon in mycomputer ,go properties/tools and run the disk check, see what it says , ,and maybe then try formatting it ,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

yes it should ,but it would not be that good .it would just use windows default video drive ,most laptops come with a decitaded video device, soldered to the motherboard ,some /all good gaming laptops have devices that can be removed /changed there would be no intel video driver[having nvideo is considered to be better than having the Intel device ] because its not using intergrated intel device, its using nvida device .what is the exact model of the sone, usually found on the bottom of the laptop
why would you want to disable the nvida device ,just curisuos

Does my laptop graphics( like windows aero) work even If I disable the Nvidia driver.

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

biggest difference is dual= 2 cores and quad =4 cores ,then more cores the better according to the makers of processors ,the more cores the more commands the cpu can handles at any one time .

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

to me no you are not being clear enough ,are the 2 computers in the same location

some way of simply streaming the position of the movie to the other computer

so what is the position of the movie ,position doesn't seem like the correct word to be using ,maybe "location" is a better word to describe it .
unless the 2 computer are on the same network the internet is the only way I know of to stream from one computer to another ove a long distance

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

im not saying it wouldn't detect viruses ,im saying its a resorce hog and and personaly donlt like Norton [except for corprate version ]dose this behavour happen with internet explorer ,or is it just firefox ,and yes I think it could be caused by the norton360 temporaly disable it[a setting somewhere in its prefernces ] and try using firefox

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

laptop owners don't realise how little dust it take to make them overheat ,and how quick it builds up inside if not cleaned regulary ,should be blown out regulary ,good luck

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I just burnt the content of the iso file ,Im using win8 so it burns iso file to disk and will also mount the iso, ,no need to use third party software ,what I did notice was that threr was an extra file in the iso after making it not sure what it was for but I left it there assuming it wouldn't hurt

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

i think you were right the first time ,damaged the harddrive ,did you try running chkdsk on it ,right click o nthe drives icon in mycomputer and go properties /tools and check the disk

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

the blame is on Apple ,all there employes or employes of a contracted call center are responsable to/for Apple, they are Apple ,classic excample of "if it happen to you" ,you would be blaming apple too

hi ,I think you would have to know who it was registerd with and contact them,if it even could be reactivated ,im not sure ,but if he created the site himself,he would have had to use his computer to do so ,or I guess he could have used a unlike site maker of some sort , ,all the special writings and memories would be store on his computer somewhere

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I just downloaed for the first time this iso creator program and used it to create a iso of a Linux I have on a USB and it created an iso that I can only assume will work if it burn it to cd ,I just don't have a cd to try it on.i use win8 to mount the iso and it showed all the files and folders that were on the usb ,good luck

try to run a feature of program

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

If it is opening on start up, there must be a short cut for IE in start up

,it doesn't nessarly need to be a IE shourt cut ,it cold be another programs icon ,that's calling up IE to connect to the web

and if you changed the motherboard and it was not the same as the one Acer had in it ,then no its not really an Acer anymore ,in the bios look for disable MSI logo on bootup something like that ,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I doubt that it's caused by overheating since it hangs at identical points every single time no matter the configuration

it is possible for a computer chip to overheat almost instently ,no all are a slow buildup to a specific temp. just a thought ,if its a old pci card it might be faulty ,good luck with trying a pci-e card ,
did you try the video card in all 3 pci slots ,usually one of the slots are higher speed than other 2 [on boards I have owned ,should show in the manual]
when I google Nvidia 210 PCI all I find are pci- express cards

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

don't see anything out of line in the log ,did you check the startup folder in START ,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

I would like to stop the BIOS POST screens from loading before Windows

you need to enter the bios/setup when booting up the computer[usuall f2 or DEL key to enter it ,] and turn on quickboot,

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

hi, open start ,check the startup folder for reference to IE or a program looking to go online ,you need to use a file hosting site to upload a file ,so just copy and past the content hijackthis log to a new post

caperjack 875 I hate 20 Questions Team Colleague

The video card is obviously working or else I wouldn't be able to see that the system is hanging. Any thoughts?? PLEASE??

yes,but it could be overheating badly and causing the freezing
