Since you are using Teamviewer you can contact them. Of you can do another test. Have another client test it and see whether your hypothesis is correct. Ask him to connect to your network first and send him off to another part if the town. Do not need to be too far and see whether you can remote access him. Next use another laptop and see whether you can remote acess him.

Freezing occurs all the time if you do not take care of your laptop. What is your ram and the space your hard disk left. Malware could easily have caused freezing problem. Any other lose parts in your laptop?

Windows 7 boost a much better interface than XP and other windows OS. User friendly too and better graphics:D

So it seems the format does not cure you of your hibernation. You can shut down instead of hibernating next time like what caperjack posted but sometimes you do need to hibernate your laptop. if you have been using that laptops for a long years you might consider changing it, Maybe that will solve your hibernation issue. First it depends on what account you want to recover his password. If your children is the admin of his computer, you are in a tough situation. You can either ask him to tell you the password which sounds a bit funny and will not work. On download a free trial keylogger on his macbook. Keylogger are able to keylog weak password. That means it is able to trace the password but only for a weak one. Strong password that has uppercase and numbers are difficult to crack if you use the free trial version of keylogger.

Other than the two above steps there are no way to recover the password unless you reset it which you do not want to.

If you want to protect your kids from harfuml sites or other things just to monitor them you can use the built in parental control not sure whether the G4 macbook has it.

Ping from 300-400 is quite common. Beside pingin to the game server try other websites or other game server too. You can test your download speed again here to double check.

Since you are in Singapore same as me. I would like to discuss with you above something. Information i need to know.

1) Where are you staying exactly. Just name the MRT station like Jurong, Bedok or near the town area.
2) What is your internet speed and does other laptops or computer when connecting to the same network have the same problem. Test it out on another laptop to check the download speed
3) IDA are not introducing the Fibre Optic Network system to some parts in Singapore. The Fibre Optic plan is suppose to improve internet speed but for the next month or so, your internet coneection will be a bit slow so goes for your download speed. This depends on your location. Only some areas are affected

You can't to remote control someone you must have data of his laptop first. To have data of him, he must be connected to your network first.

Try this. After that see whether can you change your dekstop wallpaper

1) Go to control panel and click display
2) Click on desktop and select customise desktop
3) Under it, click on web.
4) Uncheck every tick under web pages
5) Click apply and you are done.

You might want to see this too. Can other users account on the laptop change the wallpaper.

Dude, the poster have already solved his/her problem by reinstalling IE twice. The problem is a random and has nothing to do with shockwave. Shockwave done give you message like this. If a website require you to have shockwave to run it, it will show a blank box and at the bottom there is a link to download the latest shockwave player.

I have to differ. I own an Xbox 360 and like it way better than playstation 3. In fact i own both but prefer playing on the xbox than on the playstation. REasons the games are better. And you do sound familiar Aramant. Like i have seen you before.

Packets loss can be due to poor internet connection or the distance. Seems like your Xbox is a bit out of range. You can check with your router to see what is the connection range. Range is usually stated on the top of the router and other reasons. But since your computer is working fine we can canceled out other causes. Try to move your router close to your xbox and see whether that helps

How about using other browsers. If other browsers is able to do so IE maybe not properly installed or corrupted and having problems.

No before that. When i replied to his post, i cannot flag it. When i flag other posters post it will bring me to another page that has a small box to send the reason to mods and admin. For that poster i am unable to do so. When i click on the flag bad post button, nothing happens.
