elaborate on what images you are talking about, is it the picture that user upload to the sites, is it the graphics for the web page itself, or the ads image on the page. do they load half way, non at all
ok, well i dont beleive i have any OEm apart from the restore cd's i have gathered from repairing other people PC's

it would help if you tell us what operating system
how much space is available on the HDD?
check the configuration for WMP , make sure it's not set to digital recording?if it has the feature to enable atapi drivers, check for this in the cd bruner tab.
JB is correct, WMP V11 and IE 7 run the genuine advanget pak when you try to install those software. there is no way around that, unless you are running a hacked copy.
@ Caperkack
ok so u have to do an actual install to know if u have an OEM version.
I did try to genuine pack and rtan it got a code but when i enter it on the MS page it say software not genuine, thets when i had to change the key and re-activate then i was able to get genuine.
This includes all kinds of Internet -- Windows can't even do updates. I use a wireless D-Link card that has always worked... the connection on the bottom right says "Very Good" with 3 out of 4 green bars
are u connection to the correct network?
and when I "ping" my computer (I think that's what it is called) I get back an IP.
what is the IP address? So the wireless routers are working (I can see files on my other computers), it's just the Internet that suddenly stopped.1. Did a system restore to 3 days before, did not work.
2. McAffee security log shows 2 activex controls installed just before problem happened, but I could not find them after I downloaded an activex log.
3. Ran adware, spyware everything and nothing was found.
THanks, all help is appreciated to get my internet back.-Mr. Tanner
what is the ip address u got?
how did you ping your computer?
are you connecting to the correct network?
what is the model and serial of the laptop, dont download anything you do't trust you will have to return here ands post on the spyware section to remove the nasties.
it was very interesting reading all of the post for this thread. all about OEm and full version. but in my own experience activation and genuine are two different things. i have 3 pc at home 2 with windows media center (10 lic version) and one with windows xp pro full version. i have home edition full install,(how do u know when it is OEM version) i install the home edition ( i made it into an unattend install disk) on a friend laptop that crash, and used the product key from the sticker on the pc, i was able to activate and get genuine product, as for the media center pc i had to do a repair and it wanted me to activate, i used the product key on this desktop yet it would not activate. i had to call in to microsoft, to get it activated. but i was still not able to get genuine products. like window media player V11. i have to remove the key and use my 10 key lic to make it work.
right mouse click on the my computer icon on your desktop, choose properties and it will tell you how much ram on the pc
NB if you install 1G of mem and it shows less, you might have some alocated to video memory in the buios especially if you are using an onboard vga
remove the drive, start the pc with the master drive only. (change the jumper to the correct setting) check the bios if the slave is still showing up.( if set to auto detect it should not be listed) if listed remove it. once you have accomplish that shut down the pc, change the jumber on the master, add the slave, and reboot the pc check the bios if the slave is listed. if listed thats great. once the pc start up go to computer management, and see if the drive shows up.
this happen because u delete the temp files for the installation for the program. of it has been removed by an update. the only want around it is to get the MSi or setupfile for the program,(which is on the install Disk)
Hi guys,
I'm running Outlook 2003 on my XP sp2 laptop. I use my yahoo email address. I have been having a few problems in the last week. Everything was working fine for a few weeks following the installation.
At some point a couple of extra emails seem to have become stuck in send. I can not see these anywhere (outbox), but everytime i hit send - to send 1 email it says sending 1 of 3. For 2 emails it becomes out of 4.
Last night I could not sned anything for some time, these emails stuck in my outbox. After several reboots they eventually went.
Does anyone know how I can clear these mystery emails from the program please?
Thanks.
Steven
do u have different email accounts setup in outlook. example. Hotmail, gmail and your ISP, if so check the email that is being sent and see which account is sending the email and who it is being sent to. if u dont need to send the email you can delete it from the out bok, if the email is not in the outbox you are infected with a spam hoax. meaning a program is sending email to every one or some with certain email address. you might want to run a program like Macafee, AVG or norton or zonealarm these have good email scanners.
is the slave drive formated?
Is it set as a slave on the cable?
are the jumpers setting correct?
go to computer management and see if it shows up there and what is the HDD file ssystem.
Also tell us what is the exact error message and what operating system you are using.
is it from the quick launch or the time clock side on the task bar, and i assume you mean a grey box, what is in that box
try ussing he cd that came with the hDD, use that to set up the hadd for use with an operating system,
is this a mac or windows computer.
as suspishio stated, look for the directory of the file, do you recognized the program, can you start the program, if u can you can configure it to not start at startup, if you are not able to configure it, u can stop it from starting by way of the registry or msconfig.
did u update windows home to the latest update and and try updating roxiom and enable atapi feature on the burner,
well use a program to lock the hDD and all programs installed. i use to use a program to lock the internet or any browser thats installed, even used it in my previous job. file lock is what it's called
LOL when you are using the pc set a keyboard shortcut to turn off and turn on screen saver.
you should have taken the hint and not install the program after the second foilup, norton programs are always hogs on system resources. as for the web pages not loading, norton is blocking certain type of programs on the web browser. on one of these sites ad it as a trusted site in norton and see if the same thing happens.
so do away with the log on screen, and set the screen saver to 1 min with password protection
u can still do the scan my pc was self made and i use it to tell me what ram i need for upgrade, 4gb for 88 sounds excellent, who is the manufacturer
u have to find all traces of quicktime and delete it. ensure to clean up temp files too
first of all the beta is not even out for SP3 i know because i do beta testing for Microsoft software, why did you trust a site that specialized in hacking.
As for your email you are not going to be able to do a search on you PC for individual emails. the mails are stored in a file with the extention .dbx do a search on your pc for that extentions after you find it you can recreate your email account and import this file your mails will then show up in outlook
PS if u saved a copy of your mail on the isp server once you recreate your account and do a send and receive you will get back all your emails.
try this link it will read your ram and give you option and proces to get the correct one www.4allmemory.com
you can accomplish any thing in life, as long as you don't mind who gets the credit.
is it showing as the correct floppy in the bios 1.44mb and not 740k
try cleaning the head, use compress air if u have it.
is this an external floppy or internal that you can swap the bay????
what is the error message?
can u see the drive in windows explorer?
is this for a personal home PC.......there is no way around it, if u did not make a reset disk, you would have to do a clean install. thats it,
if u set a min /max and it grows even without any new processes or software running. u must have a trojan /virus.
increase to 1G at least,,,,,,,,,,,,are u running VMware on this PC.....
this really sound far fetch, why would you want to pass the log on screen only to have the user sign on to the account anyway, what screen would theu use for sign on
the comit charger is the max the system will set asside for the page file, notice it says pagefile/commit charge you need to go into the systems properties>advance tab> performance settings button>advance and set the min and max for the page file.
if u can log on to wondows you can back up the password from the log on screen or through control panel user account and back up the pssword to a floppy or flash drive. to reset password you have to be logged on as an admin. then you can reset users passwords.
if the laptop comes with a hidden partition you might have problem installing anything else but the restore cd.
there is your problem, the commit charge is set to 200+ yet you have a pagefile 700 +. increase the commit charge to something like 1.5g/3g.
PS is the page file on the same hdd as the operating system.
welcome tigetek, thanks for joining, u have come to the right place
did u set the charge to let windows manage , both visual effect and pagefile , how big is the hdd.
you would ahev to use a back up software for that. you would config it to do 2 seperate backup. for example do one back up at 4Pm on HDD D:\ (Folder name) and the next back up at 10PM on C:\(folder name).
PS you don't need to create 2 back up of the same thing in different place.
Personally i save every thing on my slave hdd, in the event i crash and have to do a clean install. the slave will be safe and have all my backed/saved data files.
find the directory that quick time is installed on, delete it, then try installing a genuine download of the program. Make sure you are logged on as an administrator.
dont if u choose advance installation you should be able to point your programs to install in the directory you specify...... however, never create a program files directory, this will result in errors on your pc, and best practise is to have all programs install on the c drive, then you can configure the program to save any data on another drive. Some programs by default will not allow you to change settings.
