right click on the my computer icon, choose properties, advance tad, under startup and rescovery click settings, then you can edit the boot.ini. from there
This new HDD needs to be set up for linux, this uses a different file system from windows, I suggest you use the cd that came with the HDD and set it up for use with an operating system
Just make sure all the same protocol/services/client are enablle on all the PC if NWlink/ipx/spx netbios is NOT enable, enable on each pc, let me know how that work.

Do you have outlook 2003 installed on all client PC? Is the server for these Pc's running Outlook 2003 also.? When you do send and receive what happen., what is the error message?
I Have never used registry boost but registry first aid is very good. it will find errors and actually find the correction if it is on your pc. as for the 425 errors this is not some thing you should worry about unless your PC is acting reall out of whack. some programs does not write to the registry in the conventional way so registry programs will always find errors. but the worst part is if you change these registry entries THEN you programs will or might not work. thats why i am confident in registry first aid never have an issue that it repair turn out to be bad.
whats all this gibberish, who make the computer. did u get any restore cd with the PC. the list of items under other devices will tell you either the ethernet controler or the name of the card.
you can't deleted from taks manager any way. you would have to check in msconfig or the registry to remove some of the programs that are astrting up with windows. you can simple remove them there.

If you clone a HDD bad sectors will be cloned thus damaging a good HDD

there a few ways you can change the font on the pc it can be done thropught the display appearance tab, u can change the font size there options are normal large or extra large or click on the effect button and check the option to use large fonts. then the next option would be on the settings tab then click advance button and change DPI setting, the font size will change also
is this the fan on the CPU? check to make sure there is no dust build up, the build up might be on the side and the rotating blase are touching the buildup. also if it is a ball bearing fan check to see if it warp, you might want to consider changing it.
what operating system are you using, how are you going about copying the file, meaning are u doing this in windows explorer, what is the size of the file on the dvd.
have you chacked the pc to see if the port is blocked. maybe the firewall on the pc is blocking the port. what remote program are you using, check the port

u might need to update the shockwave and flash player, also update the java engive on your pc, base on what you said before it seem to be pointing to the operting system check your security setting in IE7, then try those updates. and let us know.
your dial up might be tired. and why in the name of the PC GOD are you using dial up to access myspace. those web pages are the most bloated web pages i have ever seen. ( don't visit the place) but i have seen some pages. is your parent pc using dial up too?
try cleaning out your cookies, cache and temp internet files. then try the page again.
The machine fingerprint is nowhere to be found on the PC. if you are installing a scansoft program thats asking for one you either have a hack software or the software is bad. the software should generate this fingerprint base on certain hardware parameters. Such as CPU, Moboard and operating system installed. then when you are pass that screen it will tell you the fingerprint and probable the option to print or save the file.
sounds like your friend PC has been jacked. let him elaborate more maybe it has some thing to do with the asian program he is running., if he shuts down the program, does the box still comes up? what is in the box, instruction, notification?
