really you just need to type CREATE DATABASE (name) - the rest is optional, it will use appropriate values for you if you do not sspecify any.

The only time i ever got a "cyclic redundancy" error was when installing a game from a scratched DVD. I copied it to my HDD and installed from there and it worked fine???

Simple answer : you cant do it very easialy using anything less than XP SP2 Better answer: You dont use windows own configuration tools. They arent for wireless. You need to use the manufactures software to configure the card (if they have any available for windows 98)

It means a scratchd disk i think I got "cyclic redundancy error" installing command and conquer the first decade game because it was scratched. I copied the whole DVD to a fodler on my hard disk and ran setup from there and it worked just fine.

In XP limited or guest accounts do not work, you need to be an administrator to play games that require punkbuster. I dont know how the users work in vista

if the XPS is like the recent dimensions, it doesnt have the option for legacy devices as it has USB ports ONLY. On my dimension i wanted to install a retail version of XP so i had to slipstream in the chipset drivers

Login in runlevel 1 (single user mode)? That usually doesnt require the root password Google how to boot into 1 under Suse (i dont use that version) - usually you append "init 1" or something to the boot options at the bootloader screen
