This past summer, i was going to do a research project into laser communication between computers. The project was something like this: 1. a regular radio shack laser is setup on one computer and a reciever is setup on another computer. 2. a small circuit board with radio shack components …

Today (the 18th) is my last day to decide what i want... a CRT or a LCD. The MINIMUM is a 17" LCD with 400:1 contrast ($800 ABSOLUTE max, i'm already bending it) or a 19" CRT ($350 max, umm, about) For a 17" LCD, the main contender is: http://www.samsungusa.com/cgi-bin/nabc/product/b2c_product_detail.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1272066989.1014010445@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccceadcegfjdlimcfejceefdfggdhgm.0&prod_id=171B …
Nice resouce, but I'd have more faith in it if it was someone other than Novell itself that provided it. It reminds of the positive statistics private companies and groups make about Microsoft (how good their software is, reliable, etc.) You think that because on the outside they're not related …

Nothing is absolutely secure. Mozilla was safe for awhile because no one cared about it. Now that it's gaining popularity and momentum, more and more attacks and flaws will be found.

If it's a geforce 4, look for the MX!!! characters. I would get a 4400 or 4200, from the benchmarks i've seen, that's the best/economical choice. DO NOT GET THE MX!!! they've got nothing good, old technology! the only reason nvidia is making that chip is because people will not …

I think it's more than five percent. It's something like 5 multiple choice questions and 1 free response which adds up to a pretty penny :) If you don't want to read it, then don't. AP Exams are like college exams, they try to cover a little of everything so …

This is more like a portal-like forum. One thing i've noticed, people don't want a site that is full of everything (unless it's a specific type, ie. dictionaries and encyclopedias). People want sites that are dedicated to a certain topic. If it's part of a domain of networks, that's fine, …

from what i can see... novell is a dying technology. In the universities, unix/linux is the biggest players. I'm not sure about corporations, but the company my dad works for does not use novell, they use a domain. This ultimately decreases costs. I'm not sure what they use in companies, …
