irst thing i would try is removing the ram ,and then put it back in to make sure its getting a good connection ,if one than 1 ram chip ,remove one and try it ,same results ,remove and try the other one

when installing did you do a custom install and make sure to tell it to run from harddrive and not cdrom why install both ,just install 07,it will be compatible with any 03 files you may have
