I think it is an external hard disk, suggest from the thread title but still lack information. The poster is having problems to delete files and folders as they will reappear after being deleted. Still not clear what he want to delete it but if want to delete any files and the problem occur, it can be cause by a virus or the hard drive does not give him permission to do that.

You mean when you delete folders they appeared again later or next day. Try doing a secure deletes of the files and folders and later do a Malware Bytes scan

MBAm is good and will remove most malware, just like what the above experts posters have said:)
You can do a malware scan using MBAm 2 times to make sure all malware is being clean up or removed. Malware remover tool will not conflict with Anti Virus. You might want to try out Spyware Blaster too.

Use the new admin account and delete the old admin account. Backup your data on an external hard disk first. Since nothing is wrong with your second admin account you might as well you that. Follow the two above posted suggestion first.

When you tried in safe mode, can you log it using admin account? What is the amount od data on your guest account?And on your admin account.

After you successfully install the driver, go to device manager and see whether it is there or not? Red x means the driver is disable, you can enable it again. Yellow exclamation mark mean there is a problem with the driver, you have to reinstall it again. Tell me can you find your driver under device manager? See this link

This problem happens to Vista also. Are you using Windows Xp? How many mb of data does the admin account and guest account have? Does this problem happens when you are in safe mode?

What OS are you using? A tracking device could be possible.

Good to hear your problem is solved. Lol, i should have thought of that but i take your problem as an advanced and serious one. DNS is shortform for Domain Name System. Its a basic way how computer share data with one another on the internet or in private networks. Look at the picture i got from the internet maybe that will help you out.

Good info but always shutting down too fast will spoil your computer hard disk, occasionaly if you are busy is fine do it daily your computer life will be shorten so maybe after a few months or a year later your laptop will spoil.

Maybe there is some setting for the shield like Gerbil said. YOu can add a trusted software or process. It has been quite some time i last you Avast, I now using Microsoft Security Essentials.

Try connecting using to another network to make sure nothing is wrong with your network. There are some questions i need to know.

1) When did this problem occur?
2) What is your OS, and your computer or laptop model number?

This is a networking problem.

What router are you using? If you have using a Linksy router, go to the back of the router and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds.

1) Make sure your firewall is turn off
2) Do a ping test
3) See how many packets are received and sent per second.
4) Can other computers or laptops connect to the laptop?

You cam use Microsoft Security Essentials or Panda Cloud AntiVirus. Have you tried online armour firewall?

I stop using avast a few weeks ago and switch to panda cloud antivirus. But when i use avast before, it did not slow down my game. I am still to play without lag. You can try disabling avast first and see whether the problem occur. How many antivirus software you have? How many security software you have?

For firewall you can try Online Armour. I don't use firewall on my windows laptop because i use the built in firewall provided by microsoft and the anti virus firewall but i will help you search for free firewall.

As you have said you can try uninstalling Avast first and see whether that cure your problem.

Your last sentence is true.
Avast are known to have conflicts with ZoneAlarm Firewall. See this. Many people around the world have problem with their computers or laptop when Avast and ZoneAlarm are together. I don't use ZoneAlarm firewall because i don't find it very good.

You said you bought it from Ebay, try contacting the person who sold you the laptop. Maybe he has experience this problem before. If he experience the same problem as you before, he might have sold the computer to you because he cannot solve the problem himself too. In that case, you might have been cheated because he sold you a computer that cannot work.

Try to contact the person who sell you the laptop first.

When did this happen. Did it happen right after you do a system restore? Backup your data on an external hard diks and try reformatting it. You might want to back up your web browser bookmarks as well.

We need more information like computer model and others. Try doing a scan wit malware bytes. And also provide information about your problem. Like when this start to happen or does this problem occurs in safe mode...
