quick question: Below is an example of my prior title tage:

I added one word to my title tag : Always Running LLC / shoes / cothing.

My ranking had dropped significantly. I understand google does not like changes but I was renaked on the first page and now I can not find my page.

If you site was already showing on SE, don't change your title or your metas because it really hurt your ranking. The exact time you change the metas is when you have a low visitors. You should have a basis on when you want to change the title.

150 unique visitors per day is a good start. If you already done with on-page optimization, then you now focus on off-page optimization. Get more backlinks, much better if you can get backlinks from sites with pr already.

How come that link exchange is a black hat method? You got the links in a proper way by offering a link exchange to other website owner. If it is paid links, maybe it's a blackhat because you pay something in exchange for the traffic.

It would not be a very wise decision to rush into search engine marketing without having a set of relevant keywords ready beforehand. Search engines are all about keywords. The web surfer type in their search in the form of keywords and the search engines show results analyzing the relevance of those keywords in the web world.

No it's just not a scam. It's another way to earn money. The only thing you can call it scam if you won't put their site on your sig after they pay you or they don't pay you after you put their site on your sig.
