Did you install the drivers and what is your hard drive model?
Check the dates! Don't just blind reply to them
Have you try reinstalling it?
If you read the OP's post clearly, he just want to extend the range. Method 1 and 2 that I suggested does just that except for method 3 which you get it right. You might want to do an experiment with the wireless channel. Changing the channel allow me to connect to my home network even when I am at my neighbour's house even though the signal is weak.
Thread like this are very common. OP usually never return and a few months later someone will go and revive the thread. Oops, looks like we are straying from the topic here.Lol
Why bother replying to an old thread, check the dates of the last post next time!
Try cleaning the dust away on the heatsink and fan. If your PC is old, you might want to apply a new thermal paste between the heatsink and the CPU.
Unless he want us to help him choose the best computer among a few brands or models, which in this case is not:)
You're wrong. You know nothing about system user...
You already got the answers you need. Jailbreak maybe legal now but still not encourage as it allows mobile device to be more prone to worm's attacks.
Welcome Casey:) Enjoy your stay
Welcome to daniweb, Shawn
@ caperjack
Lol, I like your last statement.
@ glimmerman
If you want to enhance your wifi signal there are multiple ways to do it besides what caperjack mention. That's the common method but here are the rest
1) You can change your wireless channel to either 1 or 11, by default most router are automatically configure with 6 channels.
2) Add a wireless repeater
3) Change your router antenna. Most router's antenna can only broadcast the signal to a certain distance, changing it can let you connect to the network further away from the router.
not sure what you'll get for 200.00
Sure you can. A netbook from ebay or other computer retail stores. OP did not state specifically what he want, so we have to assume;)
I made a fool out of my self above...
Or by placing that hard drive in another computer. Basically its still the same method suggested by caperjack. Lol. Most likely you need to clone the data to a new hard disk and use it.
It could well be an overheating issue as well.
Desktop PC or Laptop? Do you want a second hand one or a brand new one and what are your requirements?
Example
4GB Ram
500GB Storage
i5 Processor
...
What is your computer or laptop manufacturer? You can go to their website and download the latest drivers there.
If you have some experience in PC, you might want to reseat your graphics card. Try downloading this and run it too
In a Nutshell: You can't protect flash drive from being formatted by other people;)
Don't follow the a pearlmckardy's advice! Is just rubbish.
Can you try downloading the network drivers again. Make sure they are the latest ones from the manufacturer website.
1) Make sure you key in the correct password when connecting to the network
2) Did you change any settings in the router control panel?
3) Make sure no firewall or other security software are blocking you from connecting
4) If all else fails, reset the router.
I don't think you can do that. Encryption is possible but protecting it from being reformatted is something i have never heard before. Maybe you can try changing the write permission for the flash drive.
Any flash drive that is compatible will do. Just go to a computer shop and ask the person there what you want.
Is your broadband just a modem or consists of a router as well? Does other PC or laptop have this problem?
Your battery might be faulty, what is the cycle count of your battery?
might you infected by a malware virus have a full scan with your pc... i would suggest trend micro online scanner.. hope it works..
If that's the case, Malwarebytes would be better.

Bullsh*t. Have you been listening to the news a past week or so?
You can see how difficult using a phone ( with such a puny screen ) to post. Look at the thread title, I can even misspelled the phone;)
Go google and try to search how to turn on the wifi. Usually you can turn on your wifi, in your settings or control panel. The wifi option is located near the blue tooth settings.
Your hard disk has crash, you need to get a new hard disk. Try sending it to a local repair shop and have some expert to closely look at it.
Do this steps
1) On your mac and insert the Mac OSX Installation Disk into your mac mini
2) Restart your mac and hold down the option key as it boot up again
3) Select the disk and choose your language.
4) When you enter, remember do not reinstall snow leopard at the top of the screen there will be a utilites bar something like that.
5) Go and search for disk utility and use it to repair your hard disk. After you are done, restart your mac but this time boot up from the internal hard disk.
See whether that works, if that fails most likely you need to get a new hard disk for your mac. Send your mac to an authorized apple store and get the technician there to help you fix.
You're right but is still does not matter cause you just need a monitor to connect to it and it will act like a real tv.
Lol
Usually press with other buttons as well to change the brightness and volume of laptops. Something like combo.

That's what I said above. The exact error I have seen occur in Macbooks not windows. Something seems weird here and the OP have not reply for a long time.
Your registry might be blocking the website. Go to your registry and type the web address of the banking site. You might want to clear all your browser data including cookies and cache files.
Did you turn on your wifi or you have 3G?
Good luck. And you can also go the macupdate.com and search for some softwares that remove duplicate files. The website hold the world largest mac software library.
My first wish would be for infinite wishes.
My second wish would be for all the knowledge has, does and will exist in the universe to be capable of being stored in my memory.
My third wish would be to store all of that knowledge into my brain.
My fourth wish (have infinite wishes now) would be to have an eidetic memory.
My fifth wish would be to be unable to die.
My sixth wish would be to be able to break the laws of physics.
My seventh wish would be to have world domination.
My eighth wish would be to have pow(10,1000000) dollars in cash handed to me and preferable put in a big shed with a cement bomb proof seal around it just next to my house.
My ninth wish would be to complete this list.
Someone is greedy:twisted: Do you know that genies only grant 3 wishes and no more wishing for more wish?
Does other videos from the camcorder plays with sound. If no, it could be possible that your Windows Media Player lack the codec to play the camcorder files.
Between the two, I would choose motherboard as that the most common causes.
Maybe your firewall or other settings are blocking you from accessing that website.
Hi Uni, and you are right about that part that Daniweb would be a of a great help. Hope you enjoy your stay here:)
