What do you mean by restore information. From what you say you mean you lost information and needed a software to restore it or do you want to store information so you can search for a cruise more easily according to what your customers want. What is your OS?

What i said before is that 3rd party apps may bog down the whole system thus making it slow when starting up, not necessary the application must be running.

Possible causes

1) Motherboard faulty
2) battery
3) Virus related
4) Hard disk corrupted or crash

But for point 4, usually the laptop does not start up so i doubt it will be a hard disk failure. Might be a motherboard problem. Try this. There are other good links to, you have to wait for other experts to help you. Good luck

Hi kraai, actually baby c has created another same thread in the windows forum. lol

Both are fun to play. But i would prefer the Xbox. Xbox also have the kinect and microsoft is planning to upgrade xbox and kinect soon. Ps3 is good but following recent news, sony got hacked by hackers and details were stolen. I have both ps3 and xbox and thank god the hackers stole nothing from my ps3.

I actually share the same sentiment as you do. I created this thread to see which mod is more popular. I actually wanted to add sos, happygeek and narue but later not do so. Because they have rise beyond the rank of the mods. Namely supermoderators and admins.

Anyone know who will be the next super moderator after sos retire or any other mods inetrested in this position. I heard than Nick Evan was interested before. hehe

i agree with jordan above. Text edit files are not compatible with windows but they hardly have problem like this.

Stop posting in a thread that is more than 3 months old. You have done this more than once please stop it.

How many memory did you left. I am 14 but from singapore. Different country but same age;)

Try doing a malware scan using malware bytes. Also check whether your anti virus software has detected anything. Have you downloaded any apps recently, if yes try removing them and see whether the login time is faster. Where do you install apps from? If you download applications from the internet and it is slow it may be your browser problem or your internet connenction. Check your internet speed and try changing browser to see whether downloading other softwares take a long time. Post back your findings. Good luck!

Just as the repair guy said, the problem lies with the motherboard. Try using another motherboard and test it out.

Did you hear the fan spin. Might be a hard disk failure or an overheating issus or other tons of problem. Use a spare hard disk and see whether it works. Change the chipset as well.
