I was creating an AdWords ad for our SEO forum and I tried using: SEO Forum Google News and Techniques Free Webmaster Community and it came back with an error message saying: You may not use the word "Google" in the text of your ad. Heh :)

No one can understimate the value of keyword-rich pages ... if I wanted to get a high ranking in the SERPS for "keyword" which would hold more weight - backlinks with "keyword" as the anchor text or more mentions of "keyword" in my content? Are they both equally important? Is …

You should be able to do this with a 3rd party Windows skinning program, such as Stardock WindowsBlinds or TGTSoft StyleXP. Personally, I would check out www.tgtsoft.com first ;)

A forum might be a good idea. It could form a community among people who actually live in the same complex. Perhaps schedule get togethers such as pot luck dinners, or other activities.

I don't recommend using mod_rewrite because this will create duplicate content, which google doesn't like. For example, the .php page and the .phtml page will both bring up the exact same content, and this could cause problems. Instead, I would use .htaccess to create 301 Permanent Redirects. These are used …

Google AdWords allows geotargeting so that you can avoid advertising in the UK. Part of the contract you sign with them should be that they should take the same precautions to ensure that all of their ad campaigns geotarget only the UK. Aside from AdWords, you can periodically find other …

Is the router set up to be a DHCP server and to give out IP addresses? Is there a built-in firewall? Does your PC successfully get an IP address when connected to the router?

Personally, I would not do this. Especially when upgrading to a newer computer, cloning old drives can be much more trouble than their worth - think of motherboard drivers and configurations that installed themselves during Windows installation, etc., not to mention all of the other device drivers. I just don't …

Are you by any chance using the Google Toolbar? The toolbar's AutoFill feature will highlight form fields in yellow if it thinks it can fill them in with your personal information. Clicking the AutoFill button in the toolbar will do just that. I'm confused on your second question.

In order to do this, your webhost will have to enter a DNS record for the subdomain so that their routers know to point it to your server. Then, you can use either a .htaccess or .cgi file (most likely PHP as well) to redirect the subdomain to a folder …

Generally, simply post that your question has been answered or resolved. Upon seeing that, a moderator will come around mark the thread as solved. :) As yours has just been.

Not sure about the Windows icon but I know you can change the IE icon via a registry hack. I use a program called Tweak-XP to do this. Here's a link to the manual way: http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/logo_thr.html Sorry, I don't know about for Windows though :(
