Hey Mike, I think you are confusing the recommended RAM with how much RAM an application actually uses. The recommended RAM already factors in how much RAM the operating system is going to be using. So itunes will recommend 512MB to give room for the operating system and the application. …

I think the AC charges the battery so it would require a battery in order work. Your problem sounds memory related to me, but without the spare RAM to check it I can't tell you how to verify this.

Make sure you didn't bump anything and unplug a cable somewhere, especially from the hard drive you are booting off of. Next, check the boot list in BIOS and make sure the hard drive you are booting from is on that list.

I can't find the specs for the monitors you have listed. But you want a higher refresh rate for gaming purposes and more pixels doesn't hurt either.

Did you uninstall the previous graphics driver before installing the new one? I have been told that this is important. I have never bothered to do it before so you will need to find a tutorial for a proper explanation and guide. That's all I can think of. Good luck.

My experience with Firefox and plugins is that you have to go to the plugins specific website and download it. Using the method of click to install when on a website, such as youtube, doesn't work. Hope that made sense.

You may have to manually change the default program the your files open with. Do this by right clicking the file -> Open with -> Choose Default Program Then it should save it as default for next time.

I assume you are using IE as your browser. Right click where you have your links saved up at the top of the browser, where you would normally see file, edit, view etc.. Then choose menu bar. From there you go to file, send, desktop.
