Send it back. They have done a poor job of sorting it out if it only lasted 1 day. You should be able to get it sorted for free because of the very short time it worked for.

Unplug it from the mains and remove the bios battery for about a minute. It is a round silver object with CR2032 stamped on it. You will have to set the time and date and boot order correctly after this if your machine works.

Overclocking can be very harmful to your system if done incorrectly. Can you afford to replace the computer if it goes wrong? If not, don't try it.

It's probably a faulty cd rom drive. That's just a guess as you have given very little information to work with.

Your pc is infected. I see no evidence of any antivirus software. You need to install a virus scanner and do a complete scan with it before attempting to clean anything else. Avast is good - http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Re: RAM

Crucial are well known and their scanner is very good. There are cheaper sites out there but they don't provide as good a service as Crucial on the whole.

The clock speed will make quite a difference. For an example. Some time back I had an ATI 9550 256meg. I tried out a 9600 128meg and it was a lot quicker because of it's higher clock speed. One thing though, make sure your PSU is up to it.

Graphics can only be built in on a majority of laptops. Run dxdiag on it. Click on the Start orb and type "dxdiag" in Start Search. Hit return and off you go. Have a look for any problems.

You have given us no information to work with. What format is the document in? What did you create it with? What windows version do you have? We can only work with the information you give us.

You need to unplug your PSU from everything then short the green wire in the biggest plug to any black one with a short length of wire, the PSU should spring into life. If it doesn't, it's dead and needs replacing.

If it wont boot then the worst has already happened. You should always always always back up all data that you cannot loose on a regular basis. Please explain the symptoms of your problem properly, "cant boot" doesn't give us any useful information to work with.
